The Late Show may refer to:
The Late Late Show, with its title often shortened to The Late Late, is an Irish chat show. It is the world's second longest-running chat show, after the American The Tonight Show. Perceived as the official flagship television programme of Ireland's public service broadcaster Raidió Teilifís Éireann (RTÉ), it is regarded as an Irish television institution (even abroad) and is broadcast live across two hours plus in front of a studio audience on Friday nights between September and May at 21.30.
Having maintained the same name and format continuously, The Late Late Show was first broadcast on Friday, 6 July 1962 at 23.20 and in colour from 1976. Originating as temporary summer filler for a niche Saturday night audience (airing at 23.30), it later moved to its current home on Friday night schedules. The format has remained largely the same throughout—dialogue, comic sketches, musical performances, discourse on topical issues. It has influenced attitudes of the populace towards approval or disapproval of its chosen topics, directed social change and helped shape Irish societal norms. It averages 650,000 viewers per episode and has consistently achieved RTÉ's highest ratings.

Panic! At the Disco front man Brendon Urie is gearing up to make his Broadway debut as Charlie Price in Kinky Boots. When Urie was offered the role, he jumped at the chance, telling TheaterMania that he would have played any role just to become a member of the Kinky family. And not only does he like wearing the show's bright red heels, he also loves singing Cyndi Lauper's score. At a recent press event, he sang "Soul of a Man" — and proved why his May 26-August 6 run will be something his fans, and theater fans, will be talking about for quite some time.
For all your theater needs visit http://www.theatermania.com/ Laura Benanti already explained the season of Broadway plays to us. It's time to round out TheaterMania's end-of-season tradition with her take on the season of Broadway musicals. And what we've gathered from her breadth of Broadway wisdom is the following: 'Russia' is trending, Jersey Boys enjoyed a renaissance, and there are life lessons to be learned in the audience of Miss Saigon.

Downtown Los Angeles. Made on 2/12/12. Shot and edited on the iPhone 4S. When one hears the word 'Broadway', many associations come to mind. Lights. People. The center of it all. While a badly needed facelift has come to downtown Los Angeles in recent years, the one great exception has been Broadway, which is home to many of the architectural landmarks and historic movie theaters. Thankfully, there is much talk of restoring Broadway to the cutural center it once was. Music - Brian Eno (artist), Ambient 1:Music for Airports (album), 1/1 (song)

In the beginning
(Every thing was new, city lights those subway sounds)
I was a young love
(Fell in love with you)
You looked so beautiful
At the matinee
(On Broadway)
She threw a kiss my way
(Broadway)
I fell in love
(Broadway)
Fell in love, with the leading lady, yeah
Anticipation
(Ran within my mind butterflies were flying high)
After the encore
(Would this be the time)
That love would bring us together
But when the curtain fell
(On Broadway)
The theater was an empty shell
(Broadway)
Tell me where did she go
(On Broadway)
Guess I'll never know, I'll never, never know
So baby, take it to the stage
So we can dance
You and I, a virgin romance
Take it to the stage
Where love began
My imagination, let's make pretend
(I fell in love, oh, whoo)
Well, she stole my heart
And I was so young and I didn't understand it
But I waited and I waited and I waited
To see was, she a widow or out
And come around to marry, yeah, oh, yeah
(Broadway)
Anticipation run in on my mind
(Broadway)
What a weight on my mind, my mind
Broadway
