Seether
Seether are a South African hard rock band founded in May 1999 in Pretoria, South Africa. The band originally performed under the name Saron Gas until 2002, when they adopted the Seether name. Disclaimer is their original album and major label debut. They gained mainstream popularity in 2002 with their US Active Rock #1 single "Fine Again," and their success was sustained in 2004 with the single "Broken" which peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. They have experienced continued success with #1 hits on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart such as "Remedy", "Fake It", "Country Song" and "Words as Weapons".
History
Founding (2002–2003)
The band formed in 1999 under the name Saron Gas. In 2000, the band released an independent album called Fragile under their original name.
Saron Gas had their origins in Johannesburg, a city of South Africa, and the earliest days of the group saw their public appearances at parties, nightclubs, small-scale concerts and University venues, such as the University of Cape Town and the University of Stellenbosch, where they played for the lunch-time crowds in the Neelsie centre on the latter campus as late as the summer of 2001.

Music video
A music video or song video is a short film integrating a song and imagery, produced for promotional or artistic purposes. Modern music videos are primarily made and used as a marketing device intended to promote the sale of music recordings. There are also cases where songs are used in tie in marketing campaigns that allow them to become more than just a song. Tie ins and merchandising could be used in toys are marketing campaigns for food and other products. Although the origins of music videos date back to musical short films that first appeared in the 1920s, they came into prominence in the 1980s when MTV based their format around the medium. Prior to the 1980s, these works were described by various terms including "illustrated song", "filmed insert", "promotional (promo) film", "promotional clip", "promotional video", "song video", "song clip" or "film clip". Since the creation and increased popularity of YouTube, mainstream artists now promote new music videos by releasing trailers of short promos on the site for their upcoming song and music video. Consequentially, YouTube has been converted into a social media platform for celebrities and artists to market themselves to their fans and audiences.

Careless Whisper
"Careless Whisper" is a 1984 single by George Michael (credited to "Wham! featuring George Michael" in Japan, Canada and the United States), released by Epic Records in the United Kingdom, Japan, and other countries; and by Columbia Records in North America. The song was George Michael's first solo single although he was still performing in Wham! at the time (the song is included on Wham!'s album Make It Big). The song features a prominent saxophone riff, and has been covered by a number of artists since its first release. It was released as a single and became a huge commercial success on both sides of the Atlantic and on both sides of the Pacific. It reached number one in nearly 25 countries, selling about six million copies worldwide.
Background
Unlike most of the other Wham! singles (except "Wham Rap!" and "Club Tropicana"), it was co-written by Andrew Ridgeley, the other member of the duo. The two had written it together as unknowns three years earlier in Watford, England.

In Europe, the album includes four tracks more than its predecessor; in the United States, the album has eight extra tracks, some of which had been previously released on soundtracks, such as "Hang On," which had been featured on the 2003 Daredevil soundtrack and "Out of My Way," which had been featured on the soundtrack to the 2003 horror film Freddy vs. Jason. "Fine Again" also appeared on Madden NFL 2003 and 1080° Avalanche.
A primary reason for the reworking of Disclaimer was the popularity of "Broken." Originally a simple acoustic ballad, it was remade into an electric, duet version with vocals by Amy Lee. This new version was originally featured on the 2004 Punisher soundtrack and had an accompanying music video. Both the US and European releases include the new rendition of "Broken," and Disclaimer II subsequently became Seether's most successful album commercially. The song "Sold Me" was used for WWE's Bad Blood pay per view, along with WWE also using "Out of My Way" as the entrance theme of Zach Gowen. The song "Take Me Away" is an acoustic version of a track from their first independent album (originally as Saron Gas), Fragile (2000).

Here is the full album of Seether's Disclaimer from 2002, Came from my Disclaimer CD, even though Disclaimer II is better than Disclaimer, but it's a good album for Seether's Debut. Info and track listing below.

Disclaimer is the major label debut by Alternative metal band Seether, released in 2002. It features three successful singles which would remain some of the band's most well-known songs. It is their first release under their current name after changing it from Saron Gas in 2002 to avoid confusion with a deadly nerve agent known as sarin gas.
A great deal of pre-production took place in South Africa with supervision from a Wind-Up representative. It continued in New York before the album recording sessions began in Los Angeles. Veteran session drummer Josh Freese filled the role in studio before an audition took place at Leads Rehearsal Studio. Among sixteen others, Nick Oshiro auditioned and joined the band in 2001. Seether would also enlist guitarist Patrick Callahan in fall that year after performing alongside his then current band in Philadelphia.
Disclaimer was released with ten different cover variations. These feature images from the "Fine Again" music video with people holding signs depicting a negative outlook or a poor situation in life. The concept to implement it through the album cover was headed by the video's director, Paul Feeder. According to bassist Dale Stewart:
"[Feeder] came up with the idea of the people bearing their souls and holding up the signs and we thought it was a good concept. It's kind of like a thread that runs through the whole album, the fragility, or whatever you want to call it, you know in people. People are always screwed up about something, even if they act like they're not."
In regards to recording and single output, the band allegedly faced a considerable deal of label pressure compared to future albums. According to a reflective Shaun Morgan in 2005:
"...With Disclaimer, we were still pretty green and all the say-so was made for us. We really didn’t have much and most of those decisions, I felt, were bad ones. Last time around we had a manager from South Africa. She wasn’t very good at what she was doing and she was letting [the record label] walk all over us."
Seven of the tracks that appeared in their previous album Fragile appeared remastered on Disclaimer. The seven tracks remastered for Disclaimer were: "69 Tea," "Pride," "Fine Again," "Driven Under," "Your Bore," "Pig," and "Gasoline."
