It is that time of year, Florida State Fair Time! We actually were not planning to go to the Florida State Fair this year but we just could not stay away from it. We had a blast this year with far less getting sick, thanks to some motion sick medicine. :D Surprisingly Crystal rode a lot more rides than usual. Overall it was a ton of fun! ENJOY!

In the experiment, a raven exchanges bread with a "fair" partner who reciprocates with cheese, and an "unfair" partner who takes takes the bread and keeps the cheese for herself. When presented with three individuals offering cheese, the raven chose the person most likely to offer a fair trade. The researchers concluded that ravens can recognize and remember a fair trade from a single interaction and show a preference for those who were fair to them.

Going to the LA County Fair has a been a yearly tradition in my family since I was a kid, and before my parents took me, my dad's parents took him every year. Sadly, Matt and I haven't taken our kids more than once to the Fair. (I think we may have gone once when Alyssa was a baby). This year, we went as a family with all of our kids and also my parents. It was such a fun day!! The fair is amazing too, one of the largest in the country! Hope you enjoy our video of our day there :) Thanks for watching! Don't forget to give us a THUMBS UP!

Florida State University
The Florida State University (commonly referred to as Florida State or FSU) is an American public space-grant and sea-grant research university. Its primary campus is located on a 1,391.54-acre (5.631 km2) campus in Tallahassee, Florida, United States. It is a senior member of the State University System of Florida. Florida State Fair
Coordinates: 27°59′13″N 82°21′43″W / 27.987°N 82.362°W / 27.987; -82.362
The Florida State Fair is held annually at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa. The official state fair of Florida, it includes indoor and outdoor exhibits, rides and shows. It is a chance for the state to showcase its agricultural industry. The Fair also offers competitions and food oddities such as chocolate covered bacon. The annual event usually lasts for 11 days, usually in February.
History
In 1904, the South Florida Fair Association was formed and plans for a new exhibition were proposed. The fair was founded as the South Florida Fair in downtown Tampa and renamed the Mid-Winter Festival a few years later. The name finally changed to the present Florida State Fair in 1915.
In 1975, the Florida Legislature created the Florida State Fair Authority and designated the yearly event in Tampa as the official Florida State Fair. By 1977, the first fair was held at its current location, at the intersection of Interstate 4 and U.S. Highway 301 in unincorporated Hillsborough County.

The Team: Bob Nicolas Bong Sare CJ Lagman Ian Cruz Jason Magbanua John Marvi de Guzman Canon Philippines lent us a pre-production model of the 7d. We got it Tuesday 6pm and had to return it the following Thursday at noon. We wanted to document something truly Filipino and came up with the idea of shooting a "Perya". There really is no direct equivalent in English. It's not as grand as a carnival, not as permanent and posh as an amusement park, there are no pumpkins nor cows in competition like a country fair. It is what it is - a Perya. Shot in 1920 x 1080 at 24p. Transcoded to XDcam codec. Edited in Premiere Pro CS3. No color grading was utilized. No additional lights used. Lenses: 16-35 mm 2.8 17 mm TS 35mm 1.4 50 mm 1.4 85mm 1.4 100 mm 2.8 macro 70-200 mm 2.8

Going to the LA County Fair has a been a yearly tradition in my family since I was a kid, and before my parents took me, my dad's parents took him every year. Sadly, Matt and I haven't taken our kids more than once to the Fair. (I think we may have gone once when Alyssa was a baby). This year, we went as a family with all of our kids and also my parents. Perya (Town Fair) - a Canon 7D Short
The Team: Bob Nicolas Bong Sare CJ Lagman Ian Cruz Jason Magbanua John Marvi de Guzman Canon Philippines lent us a pre-production model of the 7d. We got it Tuesday 6pm and had to return it the following Thursday at noon. We wanted to document something truly Filipino and came up with the idea of shooting a "Perya". There really is no direct equivalent in English. It's not as grand as a carnival, not as permanent and posh as an amusement park, there are no pumpkins nor cows in competition like a country fair. It is what it is - a Perya. Shot in 1920 x 1080 at 24p. Transcoded to XDcam codec. Edited in Premiere Pro CS3. No color grading was utilized. No additional lights used. Lenses: 16-35 mm 2.8 17 mm TS 35mm 1.4 50 mm 1.4 85mm 1.4 100 mm 2.8 macro 70-200 mm 2.8

In conjunction with the Malaysia Heritage Coke 2013 event in May 12 we had taken the opportunity to collaborate with a few mograph artists in creating a fun & exciting promo video. The idea of the video was to showcase the Coca-cola glass bottle in a creative environment, similar to what Coca-cola worldwide has been coming up for their well-loved & creatively designed bottles and tin cans. When presented with three individuals offering cheese, the raven chose the person most likely to offer a fair trade. The researchers concluded that ravens can recognize and remember a fair trade from a single interaction and show a preference for those who were fair to them.

Going to the LA County Fair has a been a yearly tradition in my family since I was a kid, and before my parents took me, my dad's parents took him every year. Sadly, Matt and I haven't taken our kids more than once to the Fair. (I think we may have gone once when Alyssa was a baby). This year, we went as a family with all of our kids and also my parents. Canon Philippines lent us a pre-production model of the 7d. We got it Tuesday 6pm and had to return it the following Thursday at noon.
We wanted to document something truly Filipino and came up with the idea of shooting a "Perya". There really is no direct equivalent in English. It's not as grand as a carnival, not as permanent and posh as an amusement park, there are no pumpkins nor cows in competition like a country fair. It is what it is - a Perya.
Shot in 1920 x 1080 at 24p. Transcoded to XDcam codec. Edited in Premiere Pro CS3.
No color grading was utilized.
No additional lights used.

In conjunction with the Malaysia Heritage Coke 2013 event in May 12 we had taken the opportunity to collaborate with a few mograph artists in creating a fun & exciting promo video.
The idea of the video was to showcase the Coca-cola glass bottle in a creative environment, similar to what Coca-cola worldwide has been coming up for their well-loved & creatively designed bottles and tin cans. We wanted to showcase how Coca-cola has been very creative with their designs through out the years.
Each artist were free to come up with their creative ideas revolving around the Coca-cola glass bottle. We then took the mographs given and edited the videos to create one promo video.

In conjunction with the Malaysia Heritage Coke 2013 event in May 12 we had taken the opportunity to collaborate with a few mograph artists in creating a fun & exciting promo video.
The idea of the video was to showcase the Coca-cola glass bottle in a creative environment, similar to what Coca-cola worldwide has been coming up for their well-loved & creatively designed bottles and tin cans. We wanted to showcase how Coca-cola has been very creative with their designs through out the years.
Each artist were free to come up with their creative ideas revolving around the Coca-cola glass bottle. We then took the mographs given and edited the videos to create one promo video.

Time for the Florida State Fair! 2017
It is that time of year, Florida State Fair Time! We actually were not planning to go to the Florida State Fair this year but we just could not stay away from it. We had a blast this year with far less getting sick, thanks to some motion sick medicine. :D Surprisingly Crystal rode a lot more rides than usual. Overall it was a ton of fun! ENJOY! A DAY AT THE FAIR 🍿🎟
Going to the LA County Fair has a been a yearly tradition in my family since I was a kid, and before my parents took me, my dad's parents took him every year. Sadly, Matt and I haven't taken our kids more than once to the Fair. (I think we may have gone once when Alyssa was a baby). This year, we went as a family with all of our kids and also my parents. Perya (Town Fair) - a Canon 7D Short
The Team: Bob Nicolas Bong Sare CJ Lagman Ian Cruz Jason Magbanua John Marvi de Guzman Canon Philippines lent us a pre-production model of the 7d. We got it Tuesday 6pm and had to return it the following Thursday at noon. We wanted to document something truly Filipino and came up with the idea of shooting a "Perya". There really is no direct equivalent in English. It's not as grand as a carnival, not as permanent and posh as an amusement park, there are no pumpkins nor cows in competition like a country fair. It is what it is - a Perya. Shot in 1920 x 1080 at 24p. Transcoded to XDcam codec. Edited in Premiere Pro CS3. No color grading was utilized. No additional lights used. Lenses: 16-35 mm 2.8 17 mm TS 35mm 1.4 50 mm 1.4 85mm 1.4 100 mm 2.8 macro 70-200 mm 2.8

Canon Philippines lent us a pre-production model of the 7d. We got it Tuesday 6pm and had to return it the following Thursday at noon.
We wanted to document something truly Filipino and came up with the idea of shooting a "Perya". There really is no direct equivalent in English. It's not as grand as a carnival, not as permanent and posh as an amusement park, there are no pumpkins nor cows in competition like a country fair. It is what it is - a Perya.
Shot in 1920 x 1080 at 24p. Transcoded to XDcam codec. Edited in Premiere Pro CS3.
No color grading was utilized.
No additional lights used.

In conjunction with the Malaysia Heritage Coke 2013 event in May 12 we had taken the opportunity to collaborate with a few mograph artists in creating a fun & exciting promo video.
The idea of the video was to showcase the Coca-cola glass bottle in a creative environment, similar to what Coca-cola worldwide has been coming up for their well-loved & creatively designed bottles and tin cans. We wanted to showcase how Coca-cola has been very creative with their designs through out the years.
Each artist were free to come up with their creative ideas revolving around the Coca-cola glass bottle. We then took the mographs given and edited the videos to create one promo video.
Thank you to everyone who were involved and making this happen.
