A cycling club is a society for cyclists. It can be local or national, general or specialised. The Cyclists' Touring Club, CTC) in the United Kingdom is a national association; the Tricycle Association, Tandem Club and the Veterans Time Trial Association, for those over 40, are specialist clubs. Members of specialist or national groups often belong to local clubs.
Other groups support leisure cyclists or campaign for improved facilities for cyclists. The London Cycling Campaign, Friends of the Earth, and Greenwich Cyclists are examples of campaign groups.
A cycling club's activities vary from one aspect of cycle sport to a range of cycling and social activities. Racing clubs organise competitions for members and others, including track cycling, cyclo-cross, road bicycle racing and time trials). Most competitive cyclists belong to a club affiliated to one of the national racing associations, such as British Cycling and Cycling Time Trials in the UK, and may also organise training through BC or ABCC qualified coaches. Riders often race in their club's colours.

Bombay Bicycle Club are an English indie rock band from Crouch End, London, consisting of Jack Steadman (lead vocals, guitar, piano), Jamie MacColl (guitar), Suren de Saram (drums) and Ed Nash (bass). They are guitar-fronted and have experimented with different genres, including folk, electronica, world music and indie rock.
The band were given the opening slot on 2006's V Festival after winning a competition. They subsequently released two EPs and their debut single "Evening/Morning". Since then, the band has released four albums including So Long, See You Tomorrow which topped the album charts in February 2014. The band has toured worldwide as a headlining act, playing North America, Australia, Europe and the Far East.
Their 2014 tour finished on 13 December at Earls Court Arena, their concert being the final event ever to take place there before its demolition. Pink Floyd member David Gilmour played with the band on their song "Rinse Me Down" before a performance of Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here.
So Long, See You Tomorrow is a novel by American author William Maxwell. It was first published in The New Yorker magazine in October 1979 in two parts and appeared in book form the following year, published by Knopf.
It was awarded the William Dean Howells Medal, and its first paperback edition won a 1982 National Book Award. It was also a finalist for the 1981 Pulitzer Prize.Michael Ondaatje described it as "one of the great books of our age".
The novel is based on fact and has been described as an "autobiographical metafiction".
It is set in Maxwell's hometown Lincoln, Illinois and tells of a murder that occurred in 1921. Fifty years later the guilt-ridden narrator recounts how the relationships between two neighboring families led to the murder and how he himself failed to support Cletus, a close school friend who was the son of the murderer.
See You Tomorrow is a critically acclaimed novel by Norwegian author Tore Renberg. This darkly humoristic neo-noir drama explores the themes of friendship, crime, loneliness and tragic death. It was launched in Norway in September 2013 and in the UK in August 2014. Critics both in Renberg’s native Norway and abroad have hailed it as a career high and compared him with the likes of Balzac, George R.R. Martin and the writers of modern HBO-series. See You Tomorrow is the first novel in the Teksas-series.
See You Tomorrow is set in Stavanger, the author´s hometown and surroundings which he uses for his literary exploration of the human condition. The novel is told through 11 narrators, characters belonging to highly different worlds within the same city – a group of adolescents at a high school and the bewildered and desperate father of two of them, and a gang of petty criminals trying to cope with the changing times. All of them are in search of something, trying to fill the holes in their lives. Pål, divorced father of two, has a shameful secret that has dragged him into a huge debt, a lot more than he can ever hope to pay with his modest civil servant salary. He is desperate to make sure that no one finds out – especially not his teenage daughters or his ex-wife. Sixteen-year-old Sandra also has a secret. She is in love with the irresistible delinquent Daniel William, a love so strong and pure that nothing can come in its way. Cecilie carries the greatest secret of them all, a baby growing inside her. She can only hope that her boyfriend Rudi is the child's father. But although she loves him, she feels trapped in their small-time criminal existence and dreams of escaping from it all. Over three fateful September days, these lives cross in a whirlwind of brutality, laughter, tragedy and love that will change them forever.

In this town television shuts off at two
What can a lonely rock & roller do
Oh the bed's so big and the sheets are clean
and your girlfriend said that you were 18
The styrofoam icebucket is full of ice
Come up to my motelroom treat me nice
I don't wanna make no late night New York calls
and I don't wanna stare at them ugly grassmatt walls
chronologically I know you're young
but when you kissed me in the club you bit my tongue
I'll write a song for you, I'll put it on my next L.P
Come up to my motelroom and sleep with me !
There's a Bible in the drawer don't be afraid
I'll put up the sign to warn the cleanup maid
Yeah there's lots of soap end there's lots of towels
never mind those desk clerk's scowls
I'll buy you breakfast, they'll think you're my wife
Oh come up to my motelroom, save my life
