Pilot most commonly refers to:
The term may also refer to:
Larry is a masculine given name in English, derived from Lawrence, Laurence or Laraib. It can be a shortened form of those names.
Larry may refer to the following:
Brian Conley (born 7 August 1961) is an English comedian, television presenter, singer and actor. At the peak of his television career, he was the highest-paid male television personality in the UK. Outside of television, he is best known for his frequent portrayals of Buttons in pantomime versions of Cinderella.
Brian Paul Conley was born in Paddington, London. His father was a taxicab driver. He was brought up in West London and studied Performing Arts at the Barbara Speake Stage School. As a teenager, Conley had a few minor television appearances, including an advert for hot dogs and a small role in a 1977 episode of the science fiction series Survivors. At the age of 16, by lying about his age, Conley started work as a Pontin's Bluecoat.
Conley's first major show business success was fronting a comedy showband called Tomfoolery, who performed in pubs and clubs across England and Wales, sometimes as a support act for artists such as Johnny Mathis and the Nolans. Although the group broke up due to internal disputes when Conley was 19, his work with the band led to him being talent spotted by agent Bob Voice. As a result of this, Conley started working as a warm-up man for television personalities such as the Krankies, Kenny Everett and Terry Wogan.
The Brian Conley Show was a comedy variety show, and later a comedy chat show, fronted by comedian Brian Conley. It was broadcast in the United Kingdom on ITV between 1992 and 1995, and then 2000 and 2002.
The show was commissioned following Conley's last successful comedy series, Brian Conley: This Way Up. The show lasted for four series, although a live special was shown a year after the series ended, and a Christmas special aired a year after that. Shows were broadcast Saturdays on ITV between 22 February 1992 and 22 July 1995. Repeats began to show a few years later on the now defunct Granada Plus, though episodes stopped showing on the channel a few years before it closed, and has since never been broadcast again. Extracts from various episodes were uploaded to a dedicated YouTube channel, but was subsequently closed due to copyright claims.
The show was a mix of comedy, music, sketches, and variety acts. The first two series were recorded in the Churchill Theatre in Bromley rather than a television studio, giving the show a "live" feel. Brian would perform musical numbers, stand-up routines and sketches, the latter of which were performed on sets that were wheeled out onto the stage, and he'd often change costume in front of the audience. Series three and four were filmed in The London Studios and given a new look. Sketches were now performed on a rotating platform that switched between different sets as it spun. However, Brian's trademark characters were either performed on their own set or were pre-recorded.
The Brian is the first solo album from Brian Joo (from the R&B duo Fly to the Sky). Originally scheduled for release in November, it was postponed until December 18.
Brian performed two songs from his album, "가지마" (Gajima, "Don't Go") and "바래! 바래!" (Barae! Barae!, "I Wish! I Wish!"), on December 7, 2006 on MNet Countdown, revealing them for the first time. "Gajima" is a slow ballad while "Barae! Barae!" has strong beats. The album incorporates various genres.
Joo performed his first single, "Gajima" (Don't Go), on Mnet Countdown on December 7. He revealed three songs from the album to music website Melon.com. The lead single "Gajima" became one of the most-listened song in various music sites.
OK, this wasn't really the Partridge Family at all... For the pilot, David Cassidy had yet to be discovered... The vocals were the Ron Hicklin Singers (Ron, John & Tom Bahler, others), with Hal Blaine drums, Dennis Budimir (likely) guitar, Joe Osborne bass, and Larry Knechtel keyboards. It also was sped up a lot for the show so the singers would sound like young kids. Probably recorded at Western, probably Western 3. Here it is in its original speed.
Presented here in its original speed. This song had originally appreared on The Love Generation's album. You can see the original here: https://youtu.be/IwnHxHfvUeo. Again, John and Tom Bahler, with Hal Blaine, Joe Osborne, and Larry Knechtel.

A "television pilot" (also known as a "pilot" or a "pilot episode") is a standalone episode of a television series that is used to sell the show to a television network. At the time of its creation, the pilot is meant to be the testing ground to gauge whether a series will be successful, and is therefore a test episode of an intended television series. It is an early step in the development of a television series, much like pilot lights or pilot studies serve as precursors to the start of larger activity, or pilot holes prepare the way for larger holes. Television networks use pilots to discover whether an entertaining concept can be successfully realized. After seeing this sample of the proposed product, networks will then determine whether the expense of additional episodes is justified....
