Despite it's low score, this Australian horror is a must see!
I loved this film had a great story and the acting was quality. Loved the casting and the feel of the film was just right for the time. Had hints of American werewolf in London about it and this is not a bad thing.
The main actress is a well scripted and thought out character and her co stars add much to the story and overall narative of the film. One of the great things about this film is how it builds suspence. Normal story telling of normal routine situations in the protagonists life and then surreal scenes of her relationship wwith the coma suffering patient Patrick are great to watch. Loved the way every time I saw Patrick I just shat myself in suspence. You will understand what I mean when you watch it.
Not too much actually happens in the way of killings and violence etc. but the film slowly builds an air of suspence and I started to feel tense watching certain scenes. All these scenes hotten up to quite a climax.
Overall a great story, great cast, and a fit ass nurse!

After the shocking bathtub death of his mother and her lover, the sinister Patrick lays comatose in a small private hospital, his only action being his involuntary spitting. When a pretty young nurse, just separated from her husband, begins work at the hospital, she senses that Patrick is communicating with her, and he seems to be using his psychic powers to manipulate events in her life.

Plot: In June 2000, a young filmmaker, Jay Prychidny, witnessed an incident of alcohol poisoning at his "after-grad" party. The video replicates the event as well as the confusion around how to respond appropriately. The video and guide have been produced to help youth, and the people who work with them, develop safety strategies to reduce their risks. The guide will support the teacher/facilitator in examining some key issues and lead youth in coming up with "safer partying" plans. Young people told us that this video is a very realistic enactment of party behaviour and many thought it was real. Patrick 1978 Tagline: Patrick has a way with people. His way... or else! Genre: Supernatural Despite it's low score, this Australian horror is a must see! I loved this film had a great story and the acting was quality. Loved the casting and the feel of the film was just right for the time. Had hints of American werewolf in London about it and this is not a bad thing. The main actress is a well scripted and thought out character and her co stars add much to the story and overall narative of the film. One of the great things about this film is how it builds suspence. Normal story telling of normal routine situations in the protagonists life and then surreal scenes of her relationship wwith the coma suffering patient Patrick are great to watch. A toy robot is seen dancing in ever-more elaborate and over-stimulating fantasy discos, and drifting and spinning in psychedelic wormholes. Essentially a music video for the Austrian band Ganymed's absurd 1978 song, the video is playful and opulent, presenting a night at the disco as a mind-expanding trip to an alternate universe. Robot Love is one section of our evening length media performance, AV Lodge Presents: Fruit Machine. During the performance the robot costume functions as a video and sound controller.

Despite it's low score, this Australian horror is a must see!
I loved this film had a great story and the acting was quality. Loved the casting and the feel of the film was just right for the time. Had hints of American werewolf in London about it and this is not a bad thing.
The main actress is a well scripted and thought out character and her co stars add much to the story and overall narative of the film. One of the great things about this film is how it builds suspence. Normal story telling of normal routine situations in the protagonists life and then surreal scenes of her relationship wwith the coma suffering patient Patrick are great to watch. Loved the way every time I saw Patrick I just shat myself in suspence. You will understand what I mean when you watch it.
Not too much actually happens in the way of killings and violence etc. but the film slowly builds an air of suspence and I started to feel tense watching certain scenes. All these scenes hotten up to quite a climax.
Overall a great story, great cast, and a fit ass nurse!

Inspired, in part, by the cover of Megatron Man, Patrick Cowley's archetypal Hi-NRG album, Robot Love is a celebration of the playful, synthetic, party-driven hedonistic culture of disco. A toy robot is seen dancing in ever-more elaborate and over-stimulating fantasy discos, and drifting and spinning in psychedelic wormholes. Essentially a music video for the Austrian band Ganymed's absurd 1978 song, the video is playful and opulent, presenting a night at the disco as a mind-expanding trip to an alternate universe.
Robot Love is one section of our evening length media performance, AV Lodge Presents: Fruit Machine. During the performance the robot costume functions as a video and sound controller.
