A master of camouflage when it wants to be unseen and a bright beacon of showmanship when its courting a partner or fighting off a rival.

It's been almost one year that I have this fantastic creature.
His name is L.
It is quite different from all the reports and experiences with Veileds I've read about so far.
Almost every time I read or reserached about Veileds I was surprised at the kind of behavior that they have: aggressive, grumpy, lonely and do not like the human handling.
But all these months with L made me realize that they are affectionate creatures, who like the human touch, which eat into our hands, drink at our hands, and that they can get excited when a human comes near them.
Here in this video I tried to show the routine of L.
Every day when he sees me coming into the room, come forward so I can get him to take him to the two trees he loves.
He never tried to bite me, but once or twice got grumpy with me because I got very close very fast .
L does not poop out of the cage, he always drops the tree on which it is to be taken to the cage and then there is a place where he defecates .
He has memory, have a furniture which reflects the image and he, knowing this, try to get close several times this furniture. Then when he sees the reflection gets angry, but never bit me.

Chameleon
Chameleons or chamaeleons (family Chamaeleonidae) are a distinctive and highly specialized clade of old world lizards with 202 species described as of June 2015. These species come in a range of colours, and many species have the ability to change colours. Chameleons are distinguished by their zygodactylous feet; their very long, highly modified, rapidly extrudable tongues; their swaying gait; and crests or horns on their distinctively shaped heads. Most species, the larger ones in particular, also have a prehensile tail. Chameleons' eyes are independently mobile, but in aiming at a prey item, they focus forward in coordination, affording the animal stereoscopic vision. Chameleons are adapted for climbing and visual hunting. Steve Day is Britain's best known deaf stand-up comedian.
Stand-up comedy
Day was a finalist in the Daily Telegraph Open Mic Award in 2000, and a finalist in the Hackney Empire New Act of the Year in 2002.
Day has had several one-man shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe: "Deaf in the Afternoon" (2002), "A Night at the Pictures" (2005), "Comprehensive Steve Day" (2006), "A Night at the Pictures (2007), Should I Stay or Should I Go? (2008)", and "Run, deaf Boy, Run" (2011).
In 2005, Day performed as part of "Abnormally Funny People", with Steve Best, Liz Carr, Tanyalee Davis, Chris McCausland and Simon Minty. He still makes occasional performances as part of the group, most recently a promotional video for the Disability Rights Commission. He tours extensively around the UK.
He writes a daily blog, which is one of the most read blogs on Myspace.
His 2007 Edinburgh Show "Deafy's Island Discs" was rated 5 stars, and 2011's Run deaf Boy Run 4 stars.

Joe Mullen
Joseph Patrick Mullen (born February 26, 1957) is an American former professional ice hockey player. He played 16 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the St. Louis Blues, Calgary Flames, Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins between 1980 and 1997. He was a member of three Stanley Cup championship teams, winning with the Flames in 1989 and the Penguins in 1991 and 1992. Mullen turned to coaching in 2000, serving as an assistant in Pittsburgh and briefly as head coach of the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins. He is currently an assistant with the Philadelphia Flyers.
An undrafted player, Mullen was an all-star for the Boston College Eagles before turning professional in the Blues' organization. He was named the Central Hockey League (CHL) rookie of the year in 1980 and most valuable player in 1981 as a member of the Salt Lake Golden Eagles. He won the Lady Byng Memorial Trophy as the NHL's most gentlemanly player on two occasions as a member of the Flames, as well as the NHL Plus-Minus Award. Mullen was named to the First All-Star Team in 1988–89 and played in three NHL All-Star Games.

Almost every time I read or reserached about Veileds I was surprised at the kind of behavior that they have: aggressive, grumpy, lonely and do not like the human handling. But all these months with L made me realize that they are affectionate creatures, who like the human touch, which eat into our hands, drink at our hands, and that they can get excited when a human comes near them. Chameleon - Octopus Illustration
This video features a speed up version of creating the illustration I recently did for the new Chameleon flyer and poster. It features an octopus having a go at a ship filled with candy cargo! It's been almost one year that I have this fantastic creature.
His name is L.
It is quite different from all the reports and experiences with Veileds I've read about so far.
Almost every time I read or reserached about Veileds I was surprised at the kind of behavior that they have: aggressive, grumpy, lonely and do not like the human handling.
But all these months with L made me realize that they are affectionate creatures, who like the human touch, which eat into our hands, drink at our hands, and that they can get excited when a human comes near them.
Here in this video I tried to show the routine of L.
Every day when he sees me coming into the room, come forward so I can get him to take him to the two trees he loves.
He never tried to bite me, but once or twice got grumpy with me because I got very close very fast .
L does not poop out of the cage, he always drops the tree on which it is to be taken to the cage and then there is a place where he defecates .
He has memory, have a furniture which reflects the image and he, knowing this, try to get close several times this furniture. Then when he sees the reflection gets angry, but never bit me.

Everything was done in Adobe Photoshop CS3 and a little bit of Illustrator. I think the total sums up to about 95% Photoshop and 5% illustrator.
