Royal, directed by Will Gluck, and starring Emma Stone, with Stanley Tucci, Patricia Clarkson, Thomas Haden Church, Dan Byrd, Amanda Bynes, Penn Badgley, Cam Gigandet, Lisa Kudrow and Aly Michalka playing key supporting roles. The screenplay was partially inspired by the novel The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Shot at Screen Gems studios and in Ojai, California, the film was released on September 17, 2010 to positive reviews.
Olive Penderghast, a teenage girl living in Ojai, California lies to her best friend Rhiannon Abernathy about going on a date in order to get out of camping with Rhiannon's hippie parents. Instead, she hangs around the house all weekend listening to Natasha Bedingfield's "Pocketful of Sunshine". The following Monday, pressed by Rhiannon, Olive lies about losing her virginity to a college guy. Marianne Bryant, a prissy and strictly religious Christian at their school, overhears her telling the lie and soon it spreads like wildfire. The school's conservative church group run by Marianne decides Olive will be their next project. Olive confides the truth to her friend Brandon, and he explains how others bully him because of his homosexuality. He later asks Olive to pretend to sleep with him so that he will be accepted by everyone.

In 2008, I walked through China - 1 year, 4500km. I let my hair and my beard grow. This is the resulting video. Add me on FB: ▶ https://facebook.com/crehage on TW: ▶ https://twitter.com/crehage or drop by on my site: ▶ http://www.crehage.com INFO: ▶ I never finished my original goal of walking to Germany. Instead, I walked for a year and roughly 4500km, passed the Gobi desert, and then decided to stop walking for now. ▶ All of the distance from Beijing to Ürümqi was completed solely on foot, straight good old walking. There are instances where you can see me in the video sitting on a plane or riding a boat, but those are during breaks I had to take from walking, either to sort out bureaucracy issues or to take care of some personal things. ▶ I had been planning this trip for over a year b...
The short was shot partially during the Jodlow Star Party 2010 in the middle of September, where we did serious testing of DitoGear™ Slider pre-production units and also during a few recent days at surprising surroundings of Wrocław, Poland. What I love about this slider is that it works either in horizontal and vertical mode giving the option for crane-like shots. It adds a lot to your shooting style being very compact and portable at the same time. Needless to say it works not only as a time-lapse dolly, but also as a video slider at higher speeds. The short, however, features only timelapse shots. As you get more and more gear it is sometimes difficult to keep focused on shooting. The slider is very easy and quick to setup and provides a really intuitive and convenient user interfac...

My friends Lucas, Sanaz, Jeff and I spent 5 days in Tokyo, 2 days in Kyoto in March of 2010. We tried to time it in sync with Sakura, and got there right as it began. My awesome friend Saiko, who lives in Roppongi Tokyo, met up with us and showed us a great time. This was my first serious outing with my 5D MKII and let me tell you, it was not easy. This camera is amazing when you have your shots set up, but being on-the-go it was like guerrilla film making 101. Having to manually adjust everything and compensate for changes in environment was a quick way to get very intimate with the camera, and I'm happy with the results. The firmware to allow 24p was released the day before I left. I had been counting down the days and I think the results speak for themselves. This is by all mean...
Endless. One plastic string, made out of old refrigerators, crafted by a robot, into a chair. When the first plastic chairs were made, they began with fairly simple tools and moulds to form the plastic. The simple tools were easy to adjust and this gave the designer the chance to evaluate the final product and adjust the tools almost endlessly. As labour grew more and more expensive, it was filtered out of the process with automated and complicated tools. These automated processes have been very inflexible until now. High investments in complicated moulds made it almost impossible for a designer to evaluate and refine his final object. The designer is no longer involved in the production process and the design stage is completely shifted to a pre production phase. As Dirk van der Kooij ...
Pacific Grand Prix is the BEST!!! Now on to the rest of the post. When you think of Washington you should think of three things... 1. Over weight women in spandex wielding umbrellas and peanut butter sandwiches 2. Thick green landscapes for Bigfoot to hide in, waiting to jump out and snatch your first born, and 3. Out of control, two day, multi-track drift events! Ever since I could remember I have thought of Washington as the Bermuda Triangle... if you go there you might never come back. For Oregonians, it's the state always getting in the way. Your friends move there when you least want them to, the fun events are always JUST too far away, the weather seems to be plotting against you... But now there's a light, a small ray of hope, for the rained out state of Washington. That of...

-it's not easy being green- one day park by HEYHEYHEY Eindhoven, 18 september plein, July 18 2010 WIKIPEDIA "Bein' Green" is a popular song written by Joe Raposo in 1970 for the first season of the children's television program Sesame Street and it was performed by Kermit the Frog (voiced by Jim Henson). "It's not easy being green" is a phrase that appears in pop culture as an expression of melancholy. The song is associated with problems with identity, and failure of individuality, but also with themes like self-worth and celebration of diversity. MUSIC Ernest Thompson "Are You From Dixie", from original 78rpm disk (Columbia 130-D) recorded April 1924.
School bell rings, classrooms empty, everyone goes home
Save for one girl, the model senior has the teacher alone
Says she’s fallen way behind and needs some one-on-one
Saunters over, taking out an essay she’d begun
Anxious students should not be ignored
But encounters like this seem untoward
All week long she’s been so tightly wound
So she lets her guard down
Student thinks she’s hit a snag and needs another take
Teacher looks the paper over, points to a mistake
Leaning over ever closer, interest as her guise
Student meets the gaze of teacher, pining in her eyes
While the ring on her hand screams to run
Nothing’s heard as her blouse comes undone
Inhibitions and clothes hit the floor
