Do you have more than one drive in your computer? Then you may want to move your /home directory (or other directories) to their own drive. It certainly makes reinstalling much faster when you don't have to backup all of that data and then move it back onto the machine after the reinstall.
WARNING!!!

Home directory
A home directory is a file system directory on a multi-user operating system containing files for a given user of the system. The specifics of the home directory (such as its name and location) is defined by the operating system involved; for example, Windows systems between 2000 and 2003 keep home directories in a folder called Documents and Settings.
Description
A user's home directory is intended to contain that user's files; including text documents, music, pictures or videos, etc. It may also include their configuration files of preferred settings for any software they have used there and might have tailored to their liking: web browser bookmarks, favorite desktop wallpaper and themes, passwords to any external services accessed via a given software, etc. The user can install executable software in this directory, but it will only be available to users with permission to this directory. The home directory can be organized further with the use of sub-directories.
The content of a user's home directory is protected by file system permissions, and by default is accessible to all authenticated users and administrators. Any other user that has been granted administrator privileges has authority to access any protected location on the filesystem including other users home directories.

In programming languages and type theory, a product of types is another, compounded, type in a structure. Step 3 : Copy all data from old dir to new dir
Step 4 : change env variable - JENKINS_HOME and set to new dir

Step 5 : restart Jenkins

1. Stop Jenkins

Let's bring the UNIX concept of Home Directories into the 21st century.
The concept of home directories on Linux/UNIX has little changed in the last 39 years. It's time to have a closer look, and bring them up to today's standards, regarding encryption, storage, authentication, user records, and more.
In this talk we'll talk about "systemd-homed", a new component for systemd, that reworks how we do home directories on Linux, adds strong encryption that makes sense, supports automatic enumeration and hot-plugged home directories and more.

Home directory
A home directory is a file system directory on a multi-user operating system containing files for a given user of the system. The specifics of the home directory (such as its name and location) is defined by the operating system involved; for example, Windows systems between 2000 and 2003 keep home directories in a folder called Documents and Settings.
Description
A user's home directory is intended to contain that user's files; including text documents, music, pictures or videos, etc. It may also include their configuration files of preferred settings for any software they have used there and might have tailored to their liking: web browser bookmarks, favorite desktop wallpaper and themes, passwords to any external services accessed via a given software, etc. The user can install executable software in this directory, but it will only be available to users with permission to this directory. The home directory can be organized further with the use of sub-directories.
The content of a user's home directory is protected by file system permissions, and by default is accessible to all authenticated users and administrators. Any other user that has been granted administrator privileges has authority to access any protected location on the filesystem including other users home directories.

Based on L. Frank Baum's classic children's novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" (1900), "The Wiz" had its world premiere at the Morris A. Mechanic Theatre in Baltimore on October 21, 1974. Following engagements in Detroit and Philadelphia, it opened in New York at the Majestic Theatre on Broadway, January 5, 1975. "The Wiz" went on to win seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical, and five Drama Desk Awards. It was adapted into a motion picture in 1978 featuring Diana Ross and Michael Jackson.

"Sweet Sensation" is a 1980 song by James Mtume & Reggie Lucas which charted #52 in the U.S., #5 on dance, & #3 on the R&B; charts. Sweet Sensation is the fourth album by American R&B; and soul singer Stephanie Mills. Released in 1980, produced by James Mtume and Reggie Lucas. The album features her biggest hit, "Never Knew Love Like This Before" which peaked within the top ten of the US Billboard Hot 100 and R&B; singles chart and won two Grammy Awards for Best R&B; Vocal Performance, Female and Best R&B; Song, the former becoming her first career Grammy win.
Stephanie Dorthea Mills is an American R&B;, soul and gospel singer, and a former Broadway star. Mills began her career appearing in her first play at the age of nine. Two years later, Mills won Amateur Night at the Apollo Theater a record six times. The victory led to her being cast in her first Broadway role, the orphaned child of a runaway slave in the musical Maggie Flynn.
In 1973, Mills' musical recording career was launched when she was signed to Paramount records by Michael Barbiero, and her first single "I Knew It Was Love" was released. She was later signed to Motown. Her first two albums there failed to generate a buzz as the label could not find Mills' sound and she left the label in 1976.
She quickly followed the success with 1980's Sweet Sensation, which featured Mills' biggest hit to date, the Reggie Lucas-produced "Never Knew Love Like This Before". The single became a #12 R&B; and #6 Pop hit in 1980, as well as reaching #4 in the UK Singles Chart.
Stephanie's accompanied by James Mtume, Reggie Lucas (rhythm arrangements/vocal); Basil Fearington (bass); Howard King (drums); Mtume (keyboard), and Brenda White, Gwen Gutherie and Tawatha (backing vocals).
