In the Season 2 premier of Garage Tours, we head out to Atlanta, GA where Rutledge Wood, co-host of Top Gear USA and Lost In Transmission, shares his eclectic car collection —a perfect match to his fun, outgoing personality. Inside a hangar on an old grass airfield Rutledge tours us through his wide selection of odd cars and trucks including a 1966 VW Double Cab, a Mark IV Jetta, a lifted E-30 BMW 4X4 and a 1949 Chevy Step Van. Rutledge shows us what’s under the hood and where he scored these unique specimens.

Wood is one of three hosts for the History Channel's Top Gear (US) along with Adam Ferrara and Tanner Foust, which premiered on November 21, 2010. Rutledge Wood is a great guy. He's also a great car guy, and he's been all over the television in recent years in all sorts of cars doing all sorts of crazy things in them. When this cool project came along, he called us up for some whitewalls to complete the look. We had to hustle, but we delivered him a set of tires and wheels down to the shop just in time for the Hot Rod Power Tour, and we think it looks just right!
We ran into Rutledge at the SEMA Show and got to hang out with him for a bit and talk about this killer little wagon and the great story that it has.

Wood talks about how taking a superlight truck around Glen Helen is one of the coolest things he's ever done. Rutledge Wood says he does not personally have wings but he "flew" that day in that superlight truck. He loved hearing the truck just scream around the track.
