Robin Williams character's valedictorian speech at the end of his movie "Jack". Robin passed away August 11,2014. He will be greatly missed. This speech tugged at my heartstrings and I had to share it. I do not own the copyright on this film or have distribution rights, I just wanted to share it with you.
Jack Powell appears to be an average, middle-aged forty year old man--who plays with G.I. Joe and wears Power Ranger pajamas. But Jack is only 10-years-old. He suffers from a genetic disorder that causes him to physically age four times faster than a normal person. Fearing ridicule from the outside world, Jack's parents have kept him secluded in their home, which they have stocked with every toy a young boy could want. Toys can't take the place of the real friends which Jack craves. Now he's about to embark on the greatest adventure of his unusual life--he's about to enter the fifth grade.
In this scene we will hear and watch Lewis speech about what he wanna do when he grow up. R.I.P Robin Williams All rights goes to Hollywood Pictures.
I wish you were still here, you magnificent bastard. You are missed and loved by so many and so much. I hope your big, big heart travels at the speed of light as always wherever you are. You brought so much happiness into my life. thank you for that. And for all those struggling with depression, i'd like to say - don't give up. If you find yourself in that dark place, just hold on and remember that you are loved and you are not alone. And there is always hope. Songs: 1. John Newman - Cheating (Instrumental) 2. A post-script journey through Philip Seymour Hoffman's lifetime in cinema. 200 hours of work went into breaking down 47 of Hoffman's films. Compiling his legacy has been one of the most challenging experiences I've faced as an editor, but indescribably rewarding. After 22 years on screen and nearly 50 films, we now look at the oeuvre of an actor whose work can be characterized by his allergy to dishonesty and unflinching spirit of compassion. Please take a breather and raise your glasses to one of our finest. Some kill their love when they are young, and some when they are old; some strangle with the hands of lust, some with the hands of gold: The kindest use a knife, because the dead so soon grow cold. Some love too little, some too long, some sell, and others buy; some do the deed with many tears, and some without a sigh: For each man kills the thing he loves, yet each man does not die.' -Oscar Wilde ________________________...

This is the raw vision/sound of an interview me and Chris Murray conducted in Sydney in late 2010 for the now-defunct cable show The Movie Club. I posted the footage a few months ago because I've always liked how it showed the low-key Robin Williams behind the sometimes manic persona I'd seen in other interviews. He was a lovely guy, very happy to chat afterwards and was instrumental in arranging for me to visit his hero, Mort Sahl, in Mill Valley, California, for another interview. He will be missed.
Beloved actor Robin Williams was found dead on Monday, police reported. He was 63. The apparent cause of death was suicide by asphyxiation, authorities said. According to his publicist, Williams had been battling severe depression. Williams was best known for his starring roles in classic comedies like Mrs. Doubtfire, Good Morning, Vietnam and Jumanji, but also in dramas like Dead Poets Society. He won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal of Dr. Sean Maguire in Good Will Hunting. He rose to fame while playing Mork the alien in the TV show Mork & Mindy, a Happy Days spinoff. Most recently, Williams had starred in the new CBS sitcom 'The Crazy Ones.' It was cancelled after just one season. At his time of death, a sequel to Mrs. Doubtfire was in the works. Susan ...

Oh Jackie boy, dressed in black.
Hilljack Johnny Cash.
Oh Jackie boy life is pretty grand.
A family and a plot of land.
Oh Jackie boy, you love your grand-baby.
Wide eyed, seventeen, your brandy.
Oh Jackie boy, you're the big winner.
But the lottery made you a sinner.
Now west Virginia knows your name.
314 million dollars of fame.
What will you do with all of that money?
What's good and proper in the name of philanthropy.
You thank your god with ten percent.
Give to the needy, the hungry, and those who lament.
Everyone wants a piece of that ticket and they'll stop
at nothin' to get it.
Jackie boy, how you have changed.
No one to trust.
Your wife estranged.
Cuttin' checks to you baby Brandy.
But she's been spendin' on a a new kind of candy.
And you found your own escape.
Take to the tables and piss it away.
You love the ladies at the pink pony.
They dance for you cause you got the money.
And everyone can be bought.
Do what it takes to get jack hot.
And you're full of propositions in your drunken
disposition.
And you got no guilt or shame.
Ans your wallet is to blame.
What an unfortunate fortune.
Plagued with demons.
Jack, you tycoon.
You say you got more money than god.
Now baby brandy's got your attention.
But you still got more money than god.
They found her boyfriend on the floor of you mansion.
But you still got more money than god.
Oh Jack,
you lucky bastard.
uh oh, your Brandy's gone.
Oh Jack, you lucky bastard.
uh oh the search is on.
They found her body wrapped up and abandoned.
But you still got more money than god.
Oh, Jackie boy, you've been transformed.
Can you sleep at night?
Oh Jackie boy, you got nothin' left but you and your
