We celebrate Her Majesty's birthday weekend with the best of British of wheels.

What does Monarch need in a car? Luxury? Of course. Style? Most definitely. Power? An abundance.

Bentley's first SUV meets all those criteria, offering a level of luxury, personalisation and sophistication rarely seen in the class before.

While it may share elements of its DNA with the Audi Q7, its heart beats with Bentley's unique 6.0-litre W12 engine that endows it with 447kW and 900Nm for ample royal performance.

Jaguar F-Type Convertible

Jaguar F-Type SVR convertible.

Nothing is quite as British as the leaping cat, and its F-Type drop-top follows the legacy laid down by the iconic E-Type. While it may not turn out to be the timeless classic like the E-Type, the F-Type is an excellent convertible sports car.

Her Majesty can take her pick from the supercharged V6 or V8, as either offers up ample power and a raucous soundtrack. Perfect for the Queen to let her hair down on the weekend with Prince Phillip.

Aston Martin DB11

2017 Aston Martin DB11.

Few cars soak up long-distance miles quite like Aston Martin's latest creation. The sleek and stylish grand tourer represents a new era for the British brand, ushering in a new platform and new twin-turbo V12 engine.

It represents the latest and greatest in British engineering, something the Queen will be proud off. Although Aston Martin has a partnership with German performance giant AMG to supply engines, the brand remains rooted in Great Britain.

Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Badge

Rolls-Royce Wraith Black Series.

Her Majesty has had her share of Rollers in his 91 years so now is the perfect time for something different. The Black Badge series is the uber-luxury brand's attempt to appeal to younger buyers, or as they put it it "risk takers and disruptors".

The Black Badge, which is available on the Wraith and Ghost, has the same level of customisation as the rest of the brand's range but brings unique 21-inch wheels (made from 22 layers of carbon fibre) and a hand-made starlight roof headlining to the party.

Under the bonnet is a modified 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 465kW and 870Nm to ensure the Queen won't be late for any of her royal duties.

Land Rover Discovery

2017 Land Rover Discovery.

Queen Elizabeth still has her property in Balmoral to navigate, and what better vehicle for royal off-roading than Land Rover's fifth generation Discovery.

It is one of the most capable SUV's to take off the beaten path, thanks to Land Rover's decades of experience. But the latest model also adds a new level of style and luxury as the brand pushes closer to its premium stablemate Range Rover.
