Baby Huey is a gigantic and naïve duckling cartoon character. He was created by Martin Taras for Paramount Pictures' Famous Studios, and became a Paramount cartoon star during the 1950s. Although created by Famous for its animated cartoons, Huey first appeared in Quack-a-Doodle-Doo, a Noveltoon theatrical short produced in 1949 and released on March 3, 1950.
Huey first appeared onscreen in the Noveltoons short Quack-a-Doodle-Doo, released in theaters on March 3, 1950. The character's voice was provided by Sid Raymond, an actor and comedian who created several other voices for Famous Studios' characters, including Katnip.
Many animated shorts featuring Huey had recurring themes. Most common among them was him trying to be just like any other kid his age. He would see his peers playing, and would immediately get excited. Unfortunately, whenever he tried to involve himself in the activities of his peers (also anthropomorphic ducklings), he would often inadvertently cause problems at their expense, and as a result they would drive him away through trickery (and into tears). A hungry fox (voiced by Jackson Beck) would show up, originally intending to eat Huey's peers, but upon seeing Huey as a bigger meal and overhearing the distraught duck's desires to play with someone, would feign friendship and set traps along the way, all of which would prove ineffective on Huey and/or backfire on the fox. At first Huey was blissfully unaware of the fox's true agenda. But as his peers watched the annoyed fox in action from a safe distance (and fearing for his safety just as they did their own), Huey would come to realize the truth about his predator and dispose of him, usually by saying: "Hey, you! You're the fox! And I think you're trying to kill me!", and would finish the fox. Other times, however, Huey would remain blissfully unaware and the exasperated fox would finally give up, fleeing Baby Huey before any more misfortune befell him.
Sid Raymond (January 21, 1909 - December 1, 2006) was an American comedian and character actor.
Born Raymond Silverstein, he appeared in many movies and commercials and was active nearly until his death. He is probably best remembered as being the voice for Baby Huey. Raymond also did the voices for Katnip the cat as well as magpies Heckle and Jeckle. On radio, Raymond was "Finnegan" on Duffy's Tavern during its final seasons.
Raymond died in Aventura, Florida, aged 97, where he lived with his wife, from complications of a stroke the week before.
An infant (from the Latin word infans, meaning "unable to speak" or "speechless") is the very young offspring of a human or animal. When applied to humans, the term is usually considered synonymous with baby or bairn (in Scottish English), but the latter is commonly applied to the young of any animal. When a human child learns to walk, the term toddler may be used instead.
The term infant is typically applied to young children between the ages of 1 month and 12 months; however, definitions may vary between birth and 1 year of age, or even between birth and 2 years of age. A newborn is an infant who is only hours, days, or up to a few weeks old. In medical contexts, newborn or neonate (from Latin, neonatus, newborn) refers to an infant in the first 28 days after birth; the term applies to premature infants, postmature infants, and full term infants. Before birth, the term fetus is used. In the UK, infant is a term that can be applied to school children aged between four and seven. As a legal terminology, "infancy" continues from birth until age 18.

"The Baby" is a song written by Michael White and Harley Allen, and recorded by American country music singer Blake Shelton. The song became Blake's second number-one hit, where it remained for three weeks in early 2003. It was released in October 2002 as the lead-off single to his second album The Dreamer.
The song describes how a mother thinks of her children, especially the narrator. He describes being the youngest child in his family, and tells of various situations where he is referred to as "the baby" of the family. Later on, the narrator tells of receiving a telephone call to come to the family's home state of Louisiana, where his mother is dying (it is unclear whether she was in a local hospital or if she was at the family house under hospice care); however, he arrives shortly after she is pronounced dead. The narrator then laments the passing of his mother, stating "I softly kissed that lady / And cried just like a baby."
The video shows Shelton singing in a room with blue screens while watching flashbacks of his life and family. The roll of film also shows flashbacks and pictures of the narrator and his family. It was directed by Peter Zavadil.

With a psychedelic brand of soul and a vocal style that drew comparisons to Otis Redding, the 400 pound Baby Huey was set to break nationally with his 1971 debut album. Unfortunately, a fatal heart attack prevented him from seeing the release of the disc. Baby Huey's lone album has become a sought-after collectible soul fanatics

Cold, cold eyes upon me they stare
People all around me and they’re all in fear
They don’t seem to want me but they won’t admit
I must be some kind of creature up here having fits
From my party house, I’m afraid to come outside
Although I’m filled with love I’m afraid they’ll hurt my pride
So I play the part I feel they want of me
And I pull the shades so I won’t see them seein’ me
Havin’ hard times in this crazy town
Havin’ hard times, there’s no love to be found
Havin’ hard times, in this crazy town
Havin’ hard times, there’s no love to be found
From my party house I feel like meetin’ others
Familiar faces, creed and race, a brother
But to my surprise I find a man corrupt
Although he be my brother, he wants to hold me up
Havin’ hard times in this crazy town
Havin’ hard times, there’s no love to be found
Havin’ hard times, in this crazy town
Havin’ hard times, there’s no love to be found
So many hard times…
Sleepin’ on motel floors
Knockin’ on my brother’s door
Eatin’ Spam and Oreos and drinkin’ Thunderbird baby
(Wail) In this crazy town
Havin’ hard times, there’s no love to be found
Havin’ hard times, in this crazy town
Havin’ hard times, there’s no love to be found
I’m sick and tired
I’m sick and tired of payin’ dues baby
And I’m sick and tired of havin’ so many hard, hard times baby
