All the Things She Said

"All the Things She Said" is a song by Russian group t.A.T.u. from their fourth studio album 200 km/h in the Wrong Lane (2002). The song was released as the album's lead single on 19 August 2002. It was written by Sergio Galoyan, Trevor Horn, Martin Kierszenbaum, Elena Kiper and Valeriy Polienko, while production was by Horn. "All The Things She Said" is the English-language version of their 1999 single "Ya Soshla S Uma".

"All The Things She Said" received mixed reviews from music critics, while some commended the production and lyrical content, others called it a gimmick and suggestive. The song reached number one in several countries around the world, including Australia, Austria, France, New Zealand, Switzerland and the UK. "All The Things She Said" reached number twenty on the US Billboard Hot 100, the first Russian act to accomplish this. Ivan Shapovalov commissioned the accompanying music video for the single, which shows the group behind a fence in school uniforms, trying to escape.

She Said

"She Said" is the second single from British musician Plan B's second album The Defamation of Strickland Banks — a concept album whose songs tell the fictitious tale of a sharp-suited British soul singer who finds fame with bitter-sweet love songs, but then loses everything when he ends up in prison for a crime he didn't commit. The single was released as a digital download and on CD single on 24 February 2010. "She Said" was the sixteenth best selling British single of 2010.

Background

"She Said" began to receive increasing amounts of radio airplay throughout February and March 2010. BBC Radio 1 in particular was supportive of the track up until its release. Plan B performed the single on 12 March 2010 edition of Friday Night with Jonathan Ross. He also performed on Conan on 19 April 2011. The song was also featured in the start of the pilot episode of Whitney.

Music video

The music video for "She Said" was directed by Daniel Wolfe and shows the soul singer Strickland Banks, played by Plan B, in court following the events of the "Stay Too Long" video. The video also stars actress Vicky McClure as Strickland Banks' girlfriend and Kaya Scodelario as the female lead.

Isola (album)

Isola is an album released in 1997 by the Swedish band Kent. It was followed in 1998 by an English version, for which a new song, "Velvet", was recorded. The album name comes from Ed McBains books about the 87:th police district and is a paraphrase for New York city, and Isola is mentioned in the song "Oprofessionell"/"Unprofessional". The album is said to have been largely influenced by Radiohead despite the difference in its sound. The ending song from the album, 747, has become a fan favourite and is usually one of the songs Kent use to close their concerts.

"All the Things (Your Man Won't Do)" is a song co-written, co-produced and performed by American contemporary R&B singer Joe. The song originally appeared on the soundtrack to the film Don't Be a Menace to South Central While Drinking Your Juice in the Hood and was later included as the opening track on his second studio album All That I Am. It was his first hit on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at #11 in 1996.

The single was certified gold by the RIAA on April 10, 1996.
