Bass guitar
The bass guitar (also called electric bass, or simply bass; /ˈbeɪs/) is a stringed instrument played primarily with the fingers or thumb, by plucking, slapping, popping, strumming, tapping, thumping, or picking with a plectrum, often known as a pick.
The bass guitar is similar in appearance and construction to an electric guitar, but with a longer neck and scale length, and four to six strings or courses. The four-string bass, by far the most common, is usually tuned the same as the double bass, which corresponds to pitches one octave lower than the four lowest pitched strings of a guitar (E, A, D, and G). The bass guitar is a transposing instrument, as it is notated in bass clef an octave higher than it sounds (as is the double bass) to avoid excessive ledger lines. Like the electric guitar, the bass guitar is plugged into an amplifier and speaker for live performances.
Since the 1960s, the bass guitar has largely replaced the double bass in popular music as the bass instrument in the rhythm section. While types of bass lines vary widely from one style of music to another, the bassist usually fulfills a similar role: anchoring the harmonic framework and establishing the beat. Many styles of music utilise the bass guitar, including rock, metal, pop, punk rock, country, reggae, gospel, blues, and jazz. It is often a solo instrument in jazz, jazz fusion, Latin, funk, progressive rock and other rock and metal styles.

Los Lobos
Los Lobos (pronounced: [los ˈloβos], Spanish for "the Wolves") are a multiple Grammy Award–winning American rock band from East Los Angeles, California. Their music is influenced by rock and roll, Tex-Mex, country, folk, R&B, blues, brown-eyed soul, and traditional music such as cumbia, boleros and norteños. They gained international stardom in 1987, when their cover version of Ritchie Valens's "La Bamba" topped the charts in the U.S., the UK and several other countries. In 2015, they were nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
History
1973–79: Formation and early releases
Vocalist and guitarist David Hidalgo and drummer Louie Pérez met at Garfield High School in East Los Angeles, California, and bonded over their mutual affinity for obscure musical acts such as Fairport Convention, Randy Newman and Ry Cooder. Pérez recalls, "We’re looking at each other, 'You like this stuff? I thought I was the only weird one.' So I went over to his house one day for about a year, which we spent listening to records, playing guitars, and starting to write songs." The two borrowed reel-to-reel recorders from a friend and created multitrack recordings of music spanning from parody songs to free-form jazz. They later enlisted fellow students Cesar Rosas and Conrad Lozano to complete the group's lineup in 1973. Their first album, Los Lobos del Este de Los Angeles, was recorded at two studios in Hollywood in 1977 over a period of about four months. At that time, they all had regular jobs, and it was hard to get together for the sessions. So their producer Louis Torres would call the engineer, Mark Fleisher, who owned and operated a high-speed tape duplicating studio in Hollywood, to find a studio when he knew all the guys could get off work that night. Most of the songs were recorded at a studio on Melrose Avenue, located next to the Paramount studios at the time, and a low-priced studio on Sunset Boulevard.

De mí
"De mí" (English: "From Me") is a song by Mexican pop group Camila, released on July 4, 2011 as the four single from their second album, Dejarte de Amar (2010). "Entre tus alas" was written by Mario Domm and produced by Domm. The song reached number three on the US Billboard Latin Pop Airplay charts. A video for the song, which was recorded in the Riviera Maya of Quintana Roo in Mexico, premiered on September 2011. The song was part of the soundtrack of the telenovela Teresa.

The music video was directed by Pedro Torres and filmed at Riviera Maya of Quintana Roo, Mexico. The video features the group playing the theme and touring the Riviera, while one member is being purified by what seems to be the healer of the tribe.

Rage comic
A rage comic is a short comic using a growing set of pre-made cartoon faces, or rage faces, which usually express rage or some other simple emotion or activity. These comics have spread much in the same way that internet memes do, and several dead memes have originated in this medium. They have been characterized by Ars Technica as an "accepted and standardized form of online communication." The popularity of rage comics has been attributed to their use as vehicles for humorizing shared experiences. The range of expression and standardized, easily identifiable faces has allowed uses such as teaching English as a foreign language.
History
Although used on numerous websites such as Reddit, Cheezburger, ESS.MX, and 9GAG, the source of the rage comic has largely been attributed to 4chan in mid-2007. The first rage comic was posted to the 4chan /b/random board in 2008. It was a simple 4-panel strip showing the author's anger about getting "splashback" while on the toilet, with the final panel featuring a zoomed-in face, known as Rage Guy, screaming "FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU-". It was quickly reposted and modified, with other users creating new scenarios and characters.

Man in a Chicken suit plays "What is Love" on Pianica
I was in Melbourne for Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) 09, and I found this busker standing outside Flinders Street Station in Melbourne. He was playing the hit 90's track "What Is Love" on bass guitar, Melodica, with the assistance of a loop pedal. What is remarkable (evidently) is that he did the entire thing wearing a chicken suit. The real action in this video starts at around 1:20, when he gets DOWN with the improv action on the Pianica. Enjoy. This is an experimental drum 'n bass piece written for 3 Tesla coils, a robotic drum kit and robotic bass guitar. The audio of this track can be found at https://kxnz.bandcamp.com/track/3-tesla-coils-robotic-drums-and-bass The leads are performed by a Plasmasonic Dual Resonance Solid State Tesla Coil (DRSSTC), and the accompanying parts by 2 microBrute DRSSTCs. The Tesla coils are controlled by the Chime Red musical Tesla coil control system created by Josh Bailey and James McVay. The bass part is played by the Mechbass robotic bass guitar which was created by James McVay and Jim Murphy. I was in Melbourne for Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) 09, and I found this busker standing outside Flinders Street Station in Melbourne. He was playing the hit 90's track "What Is Love" on bass guitar, Melodica, with the assistance of a loop pedal. What is remarkable (evidently) is that he did the entire thing wearing a chicken suit. The real action in this video starts at around 1:20, when he gets DOWN with the improv action on the Pianica. Enjoy.

This is an experimental drum 'n bass piece written for 3 Tesla coils, a robotic drum kit and robotic bass guitar.

The leads are performed by a Plasmasonic Dual Resonance Solid State Tesla Coil (DRSSTC), and the accompanying parts by 2 microBrute DRSSTCs. The Tesla coils are controlled by the Chime Red musical Tesla coil control system created by Josh Bailey and James McVay.
The bass part is played by the Mechbass robotic bass guitar which was created by James McVay and Jim Murphy.
All sounds were recorded directly from the instruments with microphones in the space shown, with no added tracks.

100 Amazing Bass Lines

Man in a Chicken suit plays "What is Love" on Pianica
I was in Melbourne for Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) 09, and I found this busker standing outside Flinders Street Station in Melbourne. He was playing the hit 90's track "What Is Love" on bass guitar, Melodica, with the assistance of a loop pedal. What is remarkable (evidently) is that he did the entire thing wearing a chicken suit. The real action in this video starts at around 1:20, when he gets DOWN with the improv action on the Pianica. Enjoy. This is an experimental drum 'n bass piece written for 3 Tesla coils, a robotic drum kit and robotic bass guitar. The audio of this track can be found at https://kxnz.bandcamp.com/track/3-tesla-coils-robotic-drums-and-bass The leads are performed by a Plasmasonic Dual Resonance Solid State Tesla Coil (DRSSTC), and the accompanying parts by 2 microBrute DRSSTCs. The Tesla coils are controlled by the Chime Red musical Tesla coil control system created by Josh Bailey and James McVay. The bass part is played by the Mechbass robotic bass guitar which was created by James McVay and Jim Murphy. All sounds were recorded directly from the instruments with microphones in the space shown, with no added tracks. I was in Melbourne for Game Connect Asia Pacific (GCAP) 09, and I found this busker standing outside Flinders Street Station in Melbourne. He was playing the hit 90's track "What Is Love" on bass guitar, Melodica, with the assistance of a loop pedal. What is remarkable (evidently) is that he did the entire thing wearing a chicken suit. The real action in this video starts at around 1:20, when he gets DOWN with the improv action on the Pianica. Enjoy.
