Jamie Gibson (born 27 September 1990) is an English rugby union player who plays at flanker for London Irish in the Aviva Premiership. He was a member of the Grand Slam winning England U18 side in 2008 and is currently a member of the England Under 20 team that reached the third place play off in the 2010 JWC. He had an outstanding tournament scoring tries in important pool game wins against Ireland and France.
He attended Marlborough College in Wiltshire, and now reads Classics at University College, Oxford, yet he missed out on the Varsity Match against Cambridge two years in a row through injury.
He went on to have a successful 2010-2011 at London Irish starting multiple games at openside flanker, and has been tipped to permanently replace the departing Steffon Armitage next year by head coach Toby Booth. Gibson went on to have an outstanding summer playing for England in the non cap match against the Barbarians, and later was involved in the England Saxons Churchill Cup winning squad, scoring against Canada.
Benjamin Ryder Youngs (born 5 September 1989 in Norwich, England) is an English rugby union player who plays as a scrum-half for Leicester Tigers and England.
His older brother Tom Youngs is also a rugby player, currently on loan to Leicester Tigers as a hooker from Nottingham RFC, and his father Nick Youngs played scrum-half for both Leicester and England.
Former Tigers and England utility back Austin Healey referred to Youngs as a potential world beater.
Youngs made his Leicester Tigers first team début against Argentina in 2007 and became Leicester’s youngest ever league player when he came off the bench against Bristol. Later that season, he played in the final of the 2006–07 Guinness Premiership. Youngs was nominated as the 2008–09 Guinness Premiership Discovery of the Season award.
He was instrumental in their 22–17 defeat of the Springboks in a Friendly match on the 6 November 2009. Due to injury to squadmate Harry Ellis, he was able to hold down a starting place in the 2009–10 season. In February 2010, Youngs signed a new contract. His team-mates voted him Leicester Tigers Player of the Season for 2009/10. In a season littered with awards, he also picked up the Landrover Discovery of the Season award. He crowned off the season by playing in the 2009-10 Guinness Premiership final victory over Saracens.
Joe Phillips (born February 13, 1969) is an American artist, known for his mainstream comic book art and for his work depicting his views of gay life. He currently lives in San Diego, California.
Phillips was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1969. He attended Northside School of the Arts where he learned skills such as set design and designing costumes. Upon graduation he travelled to Europe where he furthered his artistic skills, taking part in various projects such as guerrilla street art. Upon his return to the United States, he worked on the comic book title Southern Knights.
His first major comic book job was working on the comic book"Speed Racer" for seven issues. His first cover art was in August 1989 for "Mister Miracle" number 7, He continued to work on Miracle until its end in 1991. From then onwards, he produced artwork for titles including "Justice League of America", "Silver Surfer", "X-Men", "Legion of Super-Heroes", "The Incredible Hulk" and "Lobo". In 1991 he worked under George Pérez as a penciller on Wonder Woman for two issues.
