Juliette Binoche (French pronunciation: [ʒyljɛt binɔʃ]; born 9 March 1964) is a French actress, artist and dancer. She has appeared in more than 40 feature films, been recipient of numerous international awards, and has appeared on stage and in movies across the world. Coming from an artistic background, she began taking acting lessons during adolescence. After performing in several stage productions, she began acting in films by auteur directors Jean-Luc Godard (Hail Mary, 1985), Jacques Doillon (Family Life, 1985) and André Téchiné, who made her a star in France with the leading role in his 1985 drama Rendez-vous. Her sensual performance in her English-language debut The Unbearable Lightness of Being (1988), directed by Philip Kaufman, launched her international career.
She sparked the interest of Steven Spielberg, who offered her several parts including a role in Jurassic Park which she declined, choosing instead to join Krzysztof Kieślowski in Three Colors: Blue (1993), a performance for which she won the Venice Film Festival Award for Best Actress and a César. Three years later Binoche gained further acclaim in Anthony Minghella's The English Patient (1996), for which she was awarded an Academy Award and a BAFTA for Best Supporting Actress in addition to the Best Actress Award at the 1997 Berlin International Film Festival. For her performance in Lasse Hallström's romantic comedy Chocolat (2000), Binoche was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress.

Charlie Brown and Snoopy. Lucy and Linus. These names - and the infamous football gag - have become permanently entrenched in public consciousness since Charles Schultz's first "Peanuts" comic strip was published in 1950 in nine U.S. newspapers . By the end of its fifty-year run, the strip ran in over 2,600 newspapers in 71 languages worldwide, and is widely considered to be the most successful syndicated comic strip of all time. Narrated by Walter Cronkite, this hour-long documentary, originally airing in primetime on CBS, delves into the history of "Peanuts" from the beginning. Featuring interviews with "Peanuts" creator Charles Schultz and "The Simpsons" creator Matt Groening. Produced by Mary Murphy.

A post-script journey through Philip Seymour Hoffman's lifetime in cinema. 200 hours of work went into breaking down 47 of Hoffman's films. Compiling his legacy has been one of the most challenging experiences I've faced as an editor, but indescribably rewarding. After 22 years on screen and nearly 50 films, we now look at the oeuvre of an actor whose work can be characterized by his allergy to dishonesty and unflinching spirit of compassion. Please take a breather and raise your glasses to one of our finest. I was waiting
For a sign of something
Was there only one thing
I could call my own
I was looking
For a new beginning
For a way of winning
All that I was owed
Oh, Mary
How could they see
When I lose it all
You bring it back to me
I was dreaming
Of a new day dawning
With the Monday morning
Running in my eyes
Oh, Mary
How could they know
First they took my heart
Then they break my soul
Oh, Mary
How could they see
When I lose it all
You give it back to me
I was hoping
For a moon at midnight
For a flash of sunlight
In the northern sky
I was searching
For the dreams of dreamers
For the scheme of schemers
Where the modest lie
Oh, Mary
How could they know
First they took my heart
Then they break my soul
Oh, Mary
How could they see
When I lose it all
You give it back to me
Oh, Mary
How could they know
First they took my heart
Then they break my soul
Oh, Mary
How could they see
