Hej älsklingar! I dagens vlogg så besöker vi Ystad Saltsjöbad. Vi hade planerat det i vår rutt då vi fått så många tips om det från er följare. Jag hade även hört gott om detta ställe innan men jag säger bara WOW vilket magiskt ställe! jag älskar det och vill tillbaka igen snart! 2 dagar var alldeles för kort tid!
Inredningen på hotellet var väldigt fin. Gillar ni gynningtavlorna? Borde vi ha en sådan hemma?

Som vanligt så vill Pärlan tävla. Han vill verkligen tävla i allt hela tiden. Hur det går ser ni i vloggen. Haha.
Vi käkade lunch på The Shuffle Bar som låg precis bredvid hotellet och testade desras veganska hamburgare. Alltså MUMS! Hur goda som helst. Så trevligt ställe!
Efter det så testade vi hotellets egna 2 timmars spaupplevelse The Creek Experience. Hade ingen aning om vad som väntade innan men det var riktigt coolt! Har aldrig känt mig så ren. Vi fick testa massa olika spabehandlingar från olika länder men min favorit var det turkiska badet Hamam. Så nice att få bort all död hud och skrubba hela kroppen. Vill köpa en sådan skrubbhandske hem.

Besättningen på Robotbåten Ystad busade lite gjorde ett par så kallade "Burnoutstarter" under dagen 2015-09-12 och här är en av dem filmat från kajen/akterdäcket på Spica, Ystad går från noll till över 30 knop på ett par fartygslängder. Vores sommerferie gik i år til Bornholm. Til alt held var det Leonora Christina vi skulle sejle med. Det er en flot færge, og yderst behagelig og sejle med. Personale var tip top, det hele var bare en oplevelse. Vi fik lavet lidt video fra færgen, og det har vi samlet i denne lille "film"

Ystad
Ystad (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈyːsta]) is a town, and the seat of Ystad Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden, with 18,350 inhabitants in 2010. The settlement dates back to the 11th century and the town has become a busy ferryport, local administrative centre and tourist attraction. It is associated with the fictional detective Kurt Wallander whose stories, by Henning Mankell, are set primarily in Ystad and nearby communities.
In 1285, the town's name was written Ystath. Its original meaning is not fully understood, but the "y" is probably related to an old word for the yew tree, while -stad is town, or place. In Danish times before 1658 the spelling was Ysted.
History
After the time of Absalon, Bishop of Roskilde and Archbishop of Lund, peace was brought to the area in the 11th century, fishing families settled at the mouth of the river Vassa as herring fishing became the main source of trade. Ystad was not mentioned in documents until 1244, in a record of King Eric's visit to the town with his brother, Abel. A Franciscan monastery, Gråbrödraklostret, was founded in 1267, and Ystad joined the Hanseatic League in the 14th century.

Military tattoo
A tattoo is a military performance of music or display of armed forces in general. The term comes from the early 17th century Dutch phrase doe den tap toe ("turn off the tap"), a signal sounded by drummers or trumpeters to instruct innkeepers near military garrisons to stop serving beer and for soldiers to return to their barracks.
The tattoo was originally a form of military music, but the practice has evolved into more elaborate shows involving theatrics and musical performances. It is also used to designate military exhibitions such as the Royal International Air Tattoo.
Etymology
The term dates from around 1600 during the Thirty Years' War in the Low Countries (Belgium and the Netherlands). The Dutch fortresses were garrisoned with mercenary troops that were under federal command since 1594. The Dutch States Army had become a federal army, consisting mostly of Scottish, English, German and Swiss mercenaries, but commanded by a Dutch officer corps. Drummers from the garrison were sent out into the towns at 21:30 hrs (9:30PM) each evening to inform the soldiers that it was time to return to barracks. The process was known as doe den tap toe (Dutch for "turn off the tap"), an instruction to innkeepers to stop serving beer and send the soldiers home for the night. The drummers continued to play until the curfew at 22:00 hrs (10:00PM). Tattoo, earlier tap-too and taptoo, are alterations of the Dutch words tap toe which have the same meaning.

En "Burnoutstart" med Robotbåt R142 Ystad under EDIP 2015
Besättningen på Robotbåten Ystad busade lite gjorde ett par så kallade "Burnoutstarter" under dagen 2015-09-12 och här är en av dem filmat från kajen/akterdäcket på Spica, Ystad går från noll till över 30 knop på ett par fartygslängder. Vores sommerferie gik i år til Bornholm. Til alt held var det Leonora Christina vi skulle sejle med. Det er en flot færge, og yderst behagelig og sejle med. Personale var tip top, det hele var bare en oplevelse. Vi fik lavet lidt video fra færgen, og det har vi samlet i denne lille "film"

Hej älsklingar! I dagens vlogg så besöker vi Ystad Saltsjöbad. Vi hade planerat det i vår rutt då vi fått så många tips om det från er följare. Jag hade även hört gott om detta ställe innan men jag säger bara WOW vilket magiskt ställe! jag älskar det och vill tillbaka igen snart! 2 dagar var alldeles för kort tid!
Inredningen på hotellet var väldigt fin. Gillar ni gynningtavlorna? Borde vi ha en sådan hemma?

Efter det så testade vi hotellets egna 2 timmars spaupplevelse The Creek Experience. Hade ingen aning om vad som väntade innan men det var riktigt coolt! Har aldrig känt mig så ren. Vi fick testa massa olika spabehandlingar från olika länder men min favorit var det turkiska badet Hamam. Så nice att få bort all död hud och skrubba hela kroppen. Vill köpa en sådan skrubbhandske hem.

Vantastic - Travelling through Ystad
We are a couple that lives in a van fulltime. Now we are travelling through southern parts of Sweden, North Europe. We woke up in yard of the castle and start our day by going to Ystad stellplatz, just to find that its closed for the season. So the dirty laundry have to wait. We see the next country that were going to, Denmark. Just one bridge is between us. Thank you for watching our videos. We woke up in yard of the castle and start our day by going to Ystad stellplatz, just to find that its closed for the season. So the dirty laundry have to wait. We see the next country that were going to, Denmark. Just one bridge is between us.
