Míša

Míša is a popular Czech brand of frozen confection. Míšas have been made continuously since 1961, and sell over 12 million ice pops per year, making it the most successful ice cream brand in the Czech Republic. It has survived events such as the Velvet Revolution and is fondly remembered as an integral part of Czech childhood.

They are made with frozen cream cheese, rather than ice cream or yogurt.

The logo features a grinning green bear, holding its arms above the word "Míša."

Mía (Armando Manzanero song)

"Mía" ("Mine") is a song by Mexican songwriter Armando Manzanero included in the album A Mi Amor Con Mi Amor (1967). It was first released as a double-side single along with the track "Felicidad" in 1969.

On March 20, 2001 a new version of the song was recorded as a duet with Spanish singer Miguel Bosé and was included on Manzanero's album Duetos. In 2006, Bosé also included this track on his album Papito. Popular Mexican singers like José José and Luis Miguel have performed "Mía" live on several occasions.

Mia was also performed by Los Trios Los Panchos in LP called "El Trio Los Panchos y Armando Manzanero". It included 11 songs composed by Armando Manzanero. "Contigo Aprendi, Perdoname, Cuando Estoy Contigo, Llevatela, Quiero Para Ti, Esta Tarde Vi Llover, No, Adoro, Mia, La Casa and Voy A Pagar La Luz."

Orbiter (Canada's Wonderland)

Orbiter (formerly known as Sol Loco) is a HUSS SkyLab at Canada's Wonderland in Ontario, Canada. The ride opened in 1981 for the park's first operating season. The ride closed in 2006 and was partially dismantled but was re-built and re-opened later that season following the sale of Paramount's amusement park chain to Cedar Fair.

History

When Orbiter first opened in 1981, it was called Sol Loco and featured a Mexican theme. In 2002, the ride's name was changed to what it is known as today, Orbiter. After 25 years in operation, Orbiter was closed during the 2006 operating season. The ride had been removed from the park map and was surrounded by signs stating "Please excuse our appearance as we are preparing for your future enjoyment". During this closure period, several parts of the ride were dismantled including the ride carriages. This led many people to wonder if the ride would be demolished completely. That same year, it was announced that Cedar Fair would buy all Paramount Parks. Later on in the season, the ride began to be re-assembled and was re-opened to the public.

2-Aminotetralin

2-Aminotetralin (2-AT), also known as 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-amine (THN), is a stimulant drug with a chemical structure consisting of a tetralin group combined with an amine.

2-AT is a rigid analogue of phenylisobutylamine and fully substitutes for d-amphetamine in rat discrimination tests, although at one eighth the potency. It has been shown to inhibit the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, and likely induces their release as well. It is also likely to act on dopamine on account of its full substitution of d-amphetamine in rodent studies.

A419 road

The A419 road is a primary route between Chiseldon near Swindon at junction 15 of the M4 with the A346 road, and Whitminster in Gloucestershire, England near the M5 motorway. The A419 is managed and maintained by a private company, Road Management Group, on behalf of the UK Department for Transport.

Route

From the M4 to Cirencester it is a dual carriageway road, which generally follows the course of the Roman road Ermin Way, but dualling work completed in the late 1990s, and the bypass of Cirencester, has taken it off-course in some places. East of Cirencester the A417 continues straight ahead as the major road and the A419 separates through Cirencester and Stroud, becoming mainly single carriageway. West of Cirencester the road loses its primary status; it crosses the M5 at junction 13 close to a Little Chef restaurant, then finishes 0.4 miles (0.64 km) further west at a roundabout with the A38.

History

When it was first designated in 1922, the A419 ran from Hungerford, Berkshire, to Gloucester. Before the war, the section from Cirencester to Gloucester was renumbered the A417, and the A419 was extended from Cirencester to Stroud and then on part of the route of the former A434 through Stonehouse to a junction with the A38 at Hardwicke, just south of Gloucester.
