Narana’s Art Gallery exhibits & sells artworks from internationally acclaimed and emerging Aboriginal and Torres Strait artists to suit all budgets.

Café Narana serves up an extensive breakfast & lunch menu featuring dishes inspired by native ingredients and Indigenous flavours.

Our Retail outlet stocks a large range of handmade cultural items including boomerangs, didgeridoos, clothing & fashion accessories, homewares, health & beauty products, bush herbs and spices and souvenirs.

Meet our resident emus, wallabies & kangaroos up close and you can even learn to throw a boomerang!

Located 10 minutes from Geelong on the way to Torquay, on the doorstep of the Great Ocean Road, only 1 hour from Melbourne’s CBD.

Open Monday to Saturday. Bookings can be made via phone or by visiting our website.

“Narana” means Listening and Learning, but it’s a deep, deep listening in which you take in and live out. It is this concept of “Listening and Learning For Life” which underpins Narana’s mission to be a destination for cultural education and tourism activities which promote greater understanding of Aboriginal Culture and history.

Cultural Education Centre

Cultural Education programs are delivered by expert staff who will fill your mind with the wonders of Australia’s Indigenous Culture, connection to the land, spirituality, laws, cultural designs, Dreaming stories and more.

Programs are developed to suit the interests of the visitors to the centre, whether they are primary school children attending our popular School Holiday programs or business people on ‘time out’ from a conference.

Cafe Narana

Café Narana is one of Geelong’s hidden gems, with a brand new breakfast and lunch menu featuring dishes inspired by native ingredients and Indigenous flavours.

Serving specialty Seven Seeds Coffee, Narana has become a popular dining destination, for locals and visitors alike, seeking a cafe experience with a difference.

We recently introduced a brand new selection of freshly baked housemade Indigenous inspired cakes - for 'coffee n cake' with a twist.

Think wattleseed scones with wild rosella jam and finger lime whipped cream, finger lime cakes, finger lime white chocolate lamingtons, indulgant chocolate brownies and syrupy quondong puffs to name a few!

The dining area in its' unique native garden setting and our cafe's striking ceiling mural, is just a small part of the total Narana experience.

Our Kids' Corner complete with chalkboard, books & activities as well as our Adventure Playground are always a hit with the little ones.

Sit outside and take in your surrounds from the sunny alfresco deck or venture indoors where the fireplace becomes a sought after spot during the cooler months.
