A frequent weekend traveler, Trump has favored his palatial residences in Florida and New Jersey over the wooded hideaway used by many presidents for a break from Washington. Trump's wife, Melania; their son, Barron, and the first lady's parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, joined the president for the overnight at Camp David. Trump was scheduled to return to the White House on Sunday.

Camp David is the country retreat of the President of the United States. It is located in wooded hills about 62 miles (100 km) north-northwest of Washington, D.C., in Catoctin Mountain Park near Thurmont, Maryland. It is officially known as Naval Support Facility Thurmont and because it is technically a military installation, staffing is primarily provided by the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps.
First known as Hi-Catoctin, Camp David was built as a camp for federal government agents and their families by the WPA. Construction started in 1935 and was completed in 1938. In 1942, Franklin D. Roosevelt converted it to a presidential retreat and renamed it "Shangri-La" (for the fictional Himalayan paradise). Camp David received its present name from Dwight D. Eisenhower, in honor of his father and grandson, both named David.
Camp David is not open to the public, and Catoctin Mountain Park does not indicate the location of Camp David on park maps due to privacy and security concerns.

David (/ˈdeɪvɪd/; Hebrew: דָּוִד, Modern David, Tiberian Dāwîḏ;ISO 259-3 Dawid; Arabic: داوُد Dāwūd; Syriac: ܕܘܝܕ Dawid; Ancient Greek: Δαυίδ; Latin: Davidus, David; Strong's: Daveed) was, according to the Books of Samuel, the second king of the United Kingdom of Israel, and according to the New Testament, an ancestor of Jesus. His life is conventionally dated to c. 1040 – 970 BCE, his reign over Judah c. 1010–970 BCE.
The Books of Samuel, 1 Kings, and 1 Chronicles are the only Old Testament sources of information on David, although the Tel Dan Stele (dated c. 850–835 BCE) contains the phrase בית דוד (bytdwd), read as "House of David", which many scholars confirm to be a likely plausible match to the existence in the mid-9th century BCE of a Judean royal dynasty called the House of David.
Depicted as a valorous warrior of great renown, and a poet and musician credited for composing much of the psalms contained in the Book of Psalms, King David is widely viewed as a righteous and effective king in battle and civil justice. He is described as a man after God's own heart in 1 Samuel 13:14 and Acts 13:22.

Donald John Trump, Sr. (born June 14, 1946) is an American businessperson and media personality. He is the chairman and president of The Trump Organization and the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts. Trump's career, branding efforts, personal life, wealth, and outspoken manner have made him famous throughout the country. Since 2015, he is also a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election.
Trump is a native of New York City and a son of Fred Trump, who inspired him to enter real estate development. After two years at Fordham University and while studying at Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Trump worked for his father's firm, Elizabeth Trump & Son. Nearly five months into his presidency, Trump flew for the first time Saturday to Camp David, the government-owned retreat in Maryland's Catoctin Mountains. A frequent weekend traveler, Trump has favored his palatial residences in Florida and New Jersey over the wooded hideaway used by many presidents for a break from Washington. Trump's wife, Melania; their son, Barron, and the first lady's parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, joined the president for the overnight at Camp David. Trump was scheduled to return to the White House on Sunday.

From NY to the Dominican Republic Jan 2017: Sightseeing thru the Dominican Republic. Who knew you had to get out of a car to fill it with Petro, the tank is actually in the trunk. haha! Did a few dives in Bayahibe, La Romana with some wonderful and friendly Scuba Instructors. The water is amazingly crystal clear! Took a trip to La Zona Colonial first to take some Pre-wedding pictures for my best friend and his fiance. It was a lot of fun to walk around and take in all the old style colonial buildings and architect. Lastly, visited a few resorts to decide on a wedding location in Punta Cana and La Romana.

Did a few dives in Bayahibe, La Romana with some wonderful and friendly Scuba Instructors. The water is amazingly crystal clear! Took a trip to La Zona Colonial first to take some Pre-wedding pictures for my best friend and his fiance. It was a lot of fun to walk around and take in all the old style colonial buildings and architect. Lastly, visited a few resorts to decide on a wedding location in Punta Cana and La Romana.

David’s Been Here is traveling through southern Serbia in search of the top destinations and best attractions. In this travel episode, David brings us the top things to see and do in Nis.
Serbia’s third largest city, Nis is one of the most historically significant destinations in the entire country with loads of sites, attractions and monuments to show for it. Nis is famous for being the birthplace of the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great, the man responsible for converting the empire to Christianity. The city was known in those days as Naissus.
First stop in historic Nis is straight to the city center where David meets up with his tour guide to explore the Nis Fortress. The fortress was built during Turkish rule (1386 – 1878) as was regarded as one of the most beautiful buildings in the Balkans. The Nis Fortress was used as an armory, hammam (bath), and prison. Much of the original building is still standing. It is a free attraction where people are welcome to stroll the paths and check out the 2,000-year-old Roman tombstones within.
Nis didn’t escape the horrors of WWII, as evidenced by the presence of a German concentration camp. Through the years the camp housed 30,000 people, of which 12,000 were executed.
Continuing along, David and his tour guide go see Skull Tower, built by the Ottomans. The skulls are those of Serbs killed by Ottomans during the Battle of Čegar during the First Serbian Revolution in 1809. They then head to the Archaeological Hall of Nis to check out some Roman artifacts from ancient Naissus.
With a fascinating history and pedestrian-friendly streets, travelers stopping over in Nis will have no shortage of things to do!

Nearly five months into his presidency, Trump flew for the first time Saturday to Camp David, the government-owned retreat in Maryland's Catoctin Mountains. A frequent weekend traveler, Trump has favored his palatial residences in Florida and New Jersey over the wooded hideaway used by many presidents for a break from Washington. Trump's wife, Melania; their son, Barron, and the first lady's parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, joined the president for the overnight at Camp David. Trump was scheduled to return to the White House on Sunday.

The civilian aircraft, which was out of radio communication, was intercepted approximately 6 miles (10 km) from the presidential retreat. The F-15 escorted the aircraft out of the area, and it landed in nearby Hagerstown, Maryland, without incident. The civilian plane's occupants were flying between two Maryland towns and were released without charge.[17]
On July 10, 2011, an F-15 intercepted another small two-seat passenger plane flying near Camp David when President Barack Obama was again in residence; a total of three planes were intercepted over this July 9 weekend.
