BabyFirst
BabyFirst is a media company that produces and distributes content for babies through television, the internet and mobile apps. The content is intended to develop a baby's skills, such as color recognition, counting and vocabulary. There are about 90 BabyFirst TV shows and 41 apps for mobile devices. As of 2014, the network is distributed to 81 million homes, and is based in Los Angeles, California.
BabyFirst was founded in 2004 by Guy Oranim and Sharon Rechter. Its first broadcast was through DirectTV in 2006. It was funded by Regency Enterprises, Kardan, and Bellco Capital. Distribution expanded through agreements with the Echostar Dish Network, Comcast, AT&T U-verse and others. It also developed a premium BabyFirst YouTube channel, and mobile apps. One app developed with AT&T U-verse allows babies to interact with the television programming by drawing on a mobile device.
History
Origins
BabyFirst was founded in 2004 by Guy Oranim and Sharon Rechter. The network was launched on May 11, 2006 on DirecTV and was later made available through EchoStar's Dish Network that June. It was made available through EchoStar's Dish Network that June. The BabyFirst network is based in Los Angeles and was initially funded by Regency Enterprises (a Hollywood movie studio), Kardan (a holding company) & Bellco Capital (a private fund). BabyFirst was controversial when it was introduced, because it was the first 24-hour channel for children six months to three years in age. However, the channel was popular among parents and grew quickly.

I was asked by the great folks at Yeah Haus in Detroit to storyboard, illustrate and animate a video for a *mystery client.* Since the full video can unfortunately not be shown publicly, this is a reel of what we came up with in a few short weeks.

Des enfants fantômes aux nez noirs comme ceux des koalas forment le nouveau zoo humain.
On s’y touche et s’y fait toucher en un gang bang d’orangs-outangs pas dégoûtang.
Vous pouviez joindre vos corps à nos chairs mêlées, nus si vous vouliez comme à l’aube d’une humanité en transports dans des trains noirs et blancs, fantômes également, vers les camps des débris de nos nuits, quand on était petits.
Nous étions en "Grand Nombre" : nombre de bites, nombre de seins, nombre de fentes et nombre de poils de chatte, nombre de fesses, nombre de doigts, nombre de lèvres, cils et sourcils, nombre de culs visibles ou invisibles, hors des bures, sous les bures de ces nouveaux fols en christ que nous étions, moinillons à poil au sein de nos contemporains.
À l'heure de la tétée, une lente cohorte de pénitents avides de religion dépressive, clownesque et tragique se mettra peut-être un jour à nouveau en branle - Ces années noires : l'enfance, l'adolescence, la collaboration… politique, familiale, parentale ? - Sur des musiques, beaucoup de musiques, et des paroles et des sons, une parade fantôme pour mener une vie qui n'existe plus que dans les vagues souvenirs de nos têtes fœtales.
Le théâtre ne sera que ça pour nous. Le rêve d’un érotisme lymphatique se perdant dans les dédales sans fin d’innombrables chambres d'enfants, de dortoirs de pensionnats, de lits défaits. Sonnera-t-il l'heure chaque soir d'un endormissement bienheureux ?
Quand enfin tout le monde sera couché, s'immiscera peut-être une certaine paix. C'est alors que surviendra la sonorité légère, suave et lointaine d'un corps d'enfant qui se fait jouir, en désespoir de cause…
