Why so serious? Did you know The dark knight actually had an ARG in the year building up to the movie. It was supposed to show you the rise of the Joker! For anyone new to my channel, you maybe asking... What's an ARG? An ARG is short for Alternate Reality Game. In this video I'm going to explain what an ARG/Alternate Reality Game is and give an example to help show what ARG's do.
For this particular example I use the Why So Serious ARG which was an Alternate Reality Game created to help promote the Batman movie, The Dark Knight. Although, The Dark Knight didn't really need an ARG to help promote it (Certainly not one this big), but over 11 million players were glad they did as for over a year the Why So Serious ARG gave tons of hidden websites with clues to help further the story with Batman and the Joker and help build up to The Dark Knight.
The Why So Serious ARG helped create it's very own Gotham City in the real world.
I made this video because I get many new people on my channel asking to explain what an ARG is, so rather than having to explain an ARG everytime I talk about one, I can just address this video and leave it in the description for them to go an watch.

That Poppy is a YouTube channel that revolves around a young artist called Poppy, she uploads videos to the world wide web and That Poppy's videos are directed by a guy called Titanic Sinclair. Whose made projects similar to That Poppy's YouTube Channel, Such as Mars Argo. Who used to make videos with Titanic Sinclair just like That Poppy does now. Mars Argo went missing and Titanic has stated they broke up and is now working with Poppy.
While this has happened with Mars Argo stuff still doesn't add up as there has been a video involving Mars Argo where she appears to throw up blood. While Titanic Sinclair also Seems to reference this particular video in That Poppys video. Even on That Poppy Vevo there used to be a song describing the video.
In this video I attempt to find out some of the mysteries of ThatPoppy and the channels around That Poppy.

The Dark Knight (film)
The Dark Knight is a 2008 superhero film directed, produced, and co-written by Christopher Nolan. Featuring the DC Comics character Batman, the film is the second part of Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy and a sequel to 2005's Batman Begins, starring an ensemble cast including Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gylenhaal and Morgan Freeman. In the film, Bruce Wayne/Batman (Bale), James Gordon (Oldman) and Harvey Dent (Eckhart) seek to dismantle organised crime in Gotham City, and go up against a criminal mastermind known as the Joker.
Nolan's inspiration for the film was the Joker's comic book debut in 1940, the 1988 graphic novel The Killing Joke, and the 1996 series The Long Halloween, which retold Two-Face's origin. The nickname "the Dark Knight" was first applied to Batman in Batman #1 (1940), in a story written by Bill Finger.The Dark Knight was filmed primarily in Chicago, as well as in several other locations in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. Nolan used IMAX 70 mm film cameras to film some sequences, including the Joker's first appearance in the film. The film is dedicated to Heath Ledger, who died on January 22, 2008, some months after the completed filming and six months before the film's release, from a toxic combination of prescription drugs, leading to intense attention from the press and movie-going public. Warner Bros. initially created a viral marketing campaign for The Dark Knight, developing promotional websites and trailers highlighting screenshots of Ledger as the Joker.

Why so serious? Did you know The dark knight actually had an ARG in the year building up to the movie. It was supposed to show you the rise of the Joker! For anyone new to my channel, you maybe asking... What's an ARG? An ARG is short for Alternate Reality Game. In this video I'm going to explain what an ARG/Alternate Reality Game is and give an example to help show what ARG's do. For this particular example I use the Why So Serious ARG which was an Alternate Reality Game created to help promote the Batman movie, The Dark Knight. Why so serious? Did you know The dark knight actually had an ARG in the year building up to the movie. It was supposed to show you the rise of the Joker! For anyone new to my channel, you maybe asking... What's an ARG? An ARG is short for Alternate Reality Game. In this video I'm going to explain what an ARG/Alternate Reality Game is and give an example to help show what ARG's do.
For this particular example I use the Why So Serious ARG which was an Alternate Reality Game created to help promote the Batman movie, The Dark Knight. Although, The Dark Knight didn't really need an ARG to help promote it (Certainly not one this big), but over 11 million players were glad they did as for over a year the Why So Serious ARG gave tons of hidden websites with clues to help further the story with Batman and the Joker and help build up to The Dark Knight.
The Why So Serious ARG helped create it's very own Gotham City in the real world.
I made this video because I get many new people on my channel asking to explain what an ARG is, so rather than having to explain an ARG everytime I talk about one, I can just address this video and leave it in the description for them to go an watch.
