The 2nd Phoenix Anti-Capitalist Conference is rapidly approaching, and will be held at the Nile Theater on Sunday, February 8th. In coming together, we celebrate 2014's mounting resistance in Arizona and across the U.S., reflect upon the fluid context of our struggle, and learn from our experiences to prepare for the coming year. The Conference provides a unique opportunity for active and aspiring radicals in Arizona and across the Southwest to come together, make connections, and strategize on creative ways of building a counter hegemony to the fascistic right-wing dominance of the region.

We are building off of last year's conference, which brought 250 people from all over Arizona to engage in more than 20 panels and workshops on local issues, autonomous community building and building solidarity between struggles. This year, we've lined up more panels on local fights, radical strategies and some amazing out-of-town speakers. We will again provide free vegan lunch and accept donations at the door without turning anyone away. Our hopes for the event are that rad folks get the chance to meet and further develop their individual and collective analysis of capital and the state, both locally and nationally. If you are coming from out of town and need a place to crash, please contact us at collective@carpelocus.org and we'll try to get you set up as best as possible.
