David or Dave Davis may refer to:
David (/ˈdeɪvɪd/; Hebrew: דָּוִד, Modern David, Tiberian Dāwîḏ;ISO 259-3 Dawid; Arabic: داوُد Dāwūd; Syriac: ܕܘܝܕ Dawid; Ancient Greek: Δαυίδ; Latin: Davidus, David; Strong's: Daveed) was, according to the Books of Samuel, the second king of the United Kingdom of Israel, and according to the New Testament, an ancestor of Jesus. His life is conventionally dated to c. 1040 – 970 BCE, his reign over Judah c. 1010–970 BCE.
The Books of Samuel, 1 Kings, and 1 Chronicles are the only Old Testament sources of information on David, although the Tel Dan Stele (dated c. 850–835 BCE) contains the phrase בית דוד (bytdwd), read as "House of David", which many scholars confirm to be a likely plausible match to the existence in the mid-9th century BCE of a Judean royal dynasty called the House of David.
Depicted as a valorous warrior of great renown, and a poet and musician credited for composing much of the psalms contained in the Book of Psalms, King David is widely viewed as a righteous and effective king in battle and civil justice. He is described as a man after God's own heart in 1 Samuel 13:14 and Acts 13:22.
Davis may refer to:
Andrew William Stevenson Marr (born 31 July 1959) is a British broadcaster and journalist. Beginning his career as a political commentator, he subsequently edited The Independent (1996–98), and was political editor of BBC News (2000–05). He began hosting a political programme—Sunday AM, now called The Andrew Marr Show—on Sunday mornings on BBC One from September 2005. In 2002, Marr took over as host of BBC Radio 4's long-running Start the Week Monday morning discussion programme .
In 2007 he presented a political history of post-war Britain on BBC Two, Andrew Marr's History of Modern Britain, followed by a prequel in 2009, Andrew Marr's The Making of Modern Britain, focusing on the period between 1901 and 1945. In 2010, he presented a series, Andrew Marr's Megacities (the title distinguishes it from another Megacities series), examining the life, development and challenges of some of the largest cities in the world. In early 2012 he presented The Diamond Queen, a three-part series about the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. In late September 2012, Marr began presenting Andrew Marr's History of the World, a new series examining the history of human civilisation.

Plot: In March of 2002, the top executives at the Fox Television Network met on a Monday morning, to exchange information about a new reality program rumored to be in production. The idea had all the makings of "the next big thing," and so a strategy was immediately hatched to acquire the show which was being produced by two young filmmakers, with the backing of a European financier. By April of 2002, production was halted on the show, with no finale in the can, and a police investigation pending. On the advice of counsel, the filmmakers refused to take any calls or answer any questions regarding their show. Since then, the story behind the show has become the stuff of Hollywood urban legend. Now, the producers behind TAKE MY WIFE...PLEASE!, are telling that story for the first time, in a film that goes behind the scenes, and recounts what took place during the making of the show. From the moment the initial seed was planted, through development, casting, and the tumultuous production, Ezra Landes takes filmgoers on a journey though the world of reality television, and demonstrates just how quickly two people can find themselves REELING IN REALITY.

Plot: Patrick, a young man whose father runs a remote spa, is injured in a roadside incident and is in a coma. Some years later, during the off season, five people arrive at the clinic - an ambitious politician and his wife, a swimming star who's the son of a wealthy investor, and a tough-talking man and woman who arrive together but sleep in separate rooms. They're greeted by Lydia, the doctor's new assistant, and by two viciously barking dogs. The dogs' keeper warns Davis, the swimmer, to leave. In a locked part of the clinic, Patrick is in bed, wired to three comatose bodies. What sinister purpose does the doctor have? One by one, the guests meet trouble. Does Patrick have feelings?
