An absolutely fantastic gig but it couldn't be anything else when you've got the VMS on stage playing in front of you, the energy that created by the music is awesome, if you ever get the chance you must definitely go and see them. long live the virginmarys

The Opera House in Bournemouth is now the O2 Academy and has had several past incarnations, including as a nightclub. Quite an intimate venue for this concert with an interesting standing balcony that circles the upstairs level.

I cannot remember the support act - may have been Agatha's Moment. (I was very young at the time!)

First date of the band's final tour, which concluded in December in Bristol.

The only other venue I can recall offering the same 'pick a ticket as souvenir when you leave' policy was St. Ives in Cornwall in July 2009.
