You know you've messed up when police fine you for "being a dick".
That's the bluntly honest explanation written by a driver on a speeding ticket dished out by a police officer in Karnup near Mandurah.

We are loving the work TEG team 2 are doing down this way. Ftals and crashes on Karnup Road and people are still doing 35 over. Speed kills! pic.twitter.com/VpqbULi7Hl

When asked by the officer why they were speeding, the driver seems to have replied "just being a dick".
Points for honesty perhaps - but the driver copped six demerits and an $800 fine.
Mundijong Police praised the officer's actions enforcing traffic safety.
"We are loving the work TEG team 2 are doing down this way," the station said online.
