A school in Perth's southern suburbs has issued a warning to parents after a group of children claimed they were chased by a man on Friday morning.
A WA Police spokesman said the incident occurred around 8.15am near Fawcett Road, Munster.
He said students riding their bikes to school were blocked on a path by a man walking his dogs who then, according to the children, "chased them."
The incident was reported to police but there were no witnesses or identifying descriptions of the man.
Parents at Coogee Primary School were sent a letter shortly after the incident.
"A student from our school reported that on the way to school... a male person was acting suspiciously in the area of Fawcett Road," it read.
"In light of this reported incident, I urge all children to take care when going to and from school, and to report anything suspicious to their parents, the school and the police."
Students were encouraged to travel to school in groups, stay in view and to be alert and not use earphones.
It comes two days after a 12-year-old Butler College student was grabbed by a man as she walked along a Ridgewood footpath.
Police said the man grabbed the girl by the wrist and she immediately started struggling.
She was able to break from his grip and fled.
The man is described as approximately 30-40 years of age, dark skin and had short brown hair.
He was wearing sunglasses, a checked shirt, puma pants and old shoes.
WA Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has any information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or make a report online.
