WA Police have confirmed an armed offender has held up Coles supermarket in Maylands on Thursday afternoon.
Police were called to the corner of Caledonian Avenue and Rowlands Street on Guildford Road at 2.53pm.
It has been reported customers were inside the supermarket when the suspect entered the premises.
WA Police spokesman Mick Slaughter said one offender was in custody, and police investigations were ongoing.
