Call for International Solidarity with Taras Bogay, anarchist and eco-activist (Ukraine)
On the 19th of February, Taras Bogay, an anarchist and eco-activist from Lviv, Ukraine, was assaulted by a group of 20-30 drunk neo-nazis from the rightwing organisations Right Sector and the neo-nazi militia named the Azov battallion. They attacked Taras after he tried to protect a group of foreigners that the nazi group was harassing with racial slurs and threats.

We met up at The Base, an event space in Bushwick that caters to an anarchist political perspective, to do the interview. An hour later, we migrated to a coffee shop in the shadow of the elevated M train, Little Skips. This café holds particular sentimental value for me, the bad kind – it’s filled with anxious, oddly beautiful young artists and professionals staring at laptops, wearing hats no matter the weather, and I used to be one of them, indistinguishable.

Prison officials recently placed Siddique Abdullah Hasan, a death row prisoner held at Ohio’s supermax, in segregation. Siddique was framed as a leader of the Lucasville prison uprising in 1993 and has been a vocal supporter of the September 9th national prisoner work stoppage.
Anarchist Prisoner Casey Brezik in the Hole
Anarchist prisoner Casey Brezik is currently being held in the hole and is in need of support. He has been held there since July 17th for reasons that are as of yet unknown to his supporters.
As of August 23, his case managers are still saying they have no idea how long he will be held in segregation.
Casey does not have access to his property at this time; therefore, he may not have access to his friends and supporters' addresses and maybe unable to write. If you haven't heard from Casey in a while, please consider writing him so he has your address.
