Genesis Live 1973–2007 is a box set by Genesis which includes all of their live albums except Live over Europe 2007. Genesis Live and its bonus tracks, Seconds Out, and Live at the Rainbow 1973 all include bonus DVDs which feature their respective albums in 5.1 Surround Sound. Three Sides Live and The Way We Walk are included on stereo CDs only. Unlike previous Genesis box sets, this box set does not have any version which includes SACDs. Although Live Over Europe 2007 was originally slated for inclusion, producer Nick Davis persuaded the band's management to exclude the album from the box set after hearing from a number of fans that they preferred not to buy the album again so soon after its original 2007 release.

Genesis Live is the first live album from the English rock band Genesis, released in July 1973 on Charisma Records. Initially recorded for radio broadcast on the American rock program King Biscuit Flower Hour, the album is formed of recordings from shows at Free Trade Hall, Manchester and De Montfort Hall, Leicester in February 1973 during the band's tour supporting their fourth studio album Foxtrot.
Genesis Live is the band's first album to enter the top 10 in the UK, reaching No. 9. Following its US release in 1974, it peaked at No. 105.
Genesis were persuaded by their label, Charisma Records, to release Genesis Live as a budget-priced title to mark time while the band recorded Selling England by the Pound in mid-1973. (Contractual obligations to Charisma's North American distributor, Buddah Records, may also have been a factor, as Charisma would move its distribution to Atlantic Records shortly before Selling England's release).
The tracks on the album were recorded at De Montfort Hall, Leicester, England by the Pye Mobile Recording Unit, engineer Alan Perkins, on 25 February 1973 (1973-02-25) except for "Return of the Giant Hogweed", which was recorded at the Free Trade Hall in Manchester, England on the previous day, when the band was touring in support of Foxtrot. These recordings were originally made for the U.S. radio show King Biscuit Flower Hour, although they were never broadcast.
Time's come for us to part
~And think of living as it was.
Into the future we must cross...
...Must cross.
~I'd like to go with you
~And I'd like to go with you.
You say I'm harder than a wall
~A marble shaft about to fall.
I love you dearer than them all...
...Them all.
~So let me stay with you
~So let me stay with you.
And as we walked into the day
~Sky's of blue have turned to gray.
I might have not been clear to say...
To say...
...I'd never look away
~I'd never look away.
And though I'd I'm feeling you inside
~My life is rolling with the tide.
I'd like to see it be an open ride...
~Along with you
~Going along with you.
The time we'd borrowed from ourselves
~Can't stay within a vaulted cell.
And living turns into a lender's well...
~So let me come with you
~And let me come with you.
And when we came out into view
~And there I found myself with you.
When breathing felt like something new...
New...
~Along with you
