About In Ya Face

In Ya Face is probably the longest running queer radio show in Australia. The program explores gay, lesbian, bi, trans, queer, and feminist issues with interviews, music, and commentary. We speak with people engaged in stimulating and provocative projects in queer communities - whether it be activism, advocacy, the arts, their personal narratives, or anything else that grabs our attention. We give queer perspectives about current affairs, social issues, and politics; and we play eclectic tracks and love the quirk factor.

Presented by James McKenzie and Yvette Kean, and produced by Michele Vescio.

This show is created and produced on the stolen lands of Wurundjeri and Boonwurrung people of the Kulin Nation. We acknowledge sovereignty was never ceded and a treaty was never signed.
