Explaining the context of Surah Ad-Duhaa, Ustadh Nouman says that according to several narrations, the surah came down at a moment of sadness in Prophet Muhammad's life when no Quran was revealed to him for a few days. When the Prophet starts doubting himself and getting anxious, Allah gave him a beautiful consolation, telling him that he was wrong, that He has not abandoned him and promising him that he will reach the end of his mission and witness its results. These ayat, says Ustadh, are also a message of hope to us. They teach us that sometimes we will experience gaps in our connection with Allah, but that we can always come back.

Ramzan, a month of religious steadfastness, worship, forgiveness and blessing is celebrated in its full zeal and fervor with Shan-e-Ramzan every year.
Since the last three years Shan-e-Ramzan has been living on its tradition of being the best Ramzan transmission with Junaid Jamshed and Waseem Badami as its hosts. Notable scholar Mufti Sohail Raza Amjadi, will do a daily segment in Shan-e-Seher where he will suggest different virtuous supplications to audience.

1. Alif-Lam-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].
2. This is the Book (the Qur'an), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)].
3. Who believe in the Ghaib and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and spend out of what we have provided for them [i.e. give Zakat , spend on themselves, their parents, their children, their wives, etc., and also give charity to the poor and also in Allah's Cause - Jihad, etc.].
4. And who believe in (the Qur'an and the Sunnah) which has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him ) and in [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.] which were sent down before you and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. (Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc.).
5. They are on (true) guidance from their Lord, and they are the successful.
6. Verily, those who disbelieve, it is the same to them whether you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ) warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe.
7. Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearings, (i.e. they are closed from accepting Allah's Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great torment.
8. And of mankind, there are some (hypocrites) who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day" while in fact they believe not.
9. They (think to) deceive Allah and those who believe, while they only deceive themselves, and perceive (it) not!
10. In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies.

--- Hazrat Anas (radi Allahu anhu) narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "He who reads a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah blesses him ten times, ten of his sins are forgiven, and he is increased ten times in stages (internally). (Mishkaat)

HOLY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) HADITH ABOUT DUROOD SHARIF
1." On the day of Qiyamah the person closest to me will be the one who has sent the most Durood unto me. " (TIRMIZI)
2." On Fridays, send Durood abundantly on me, as it is presented before me. " (ABU DAWUD)
3. " If any person, who writing my name, sends darood Sharif to me,then for as long as my name remains in that book, Angels will make Du'a of mercy for him. "
4. "Whoever recites Durood at my grave, I hear it myself. And whoesoever recites it from a distance, Angels present them to me." (BAIHAQI)
5. "On the day of Qiyamah, that person will be protected from the frightfulness of Qiyamah who recited durood abundantly to me." (SA'AYA)
6. "For the reciter of durood, Allah sends 70 blessings on him and the angels make dua for him 70 times."(TIBRANI)
7. " On the Day of Qiyamah, besides the Shadow of the Throne, there would be no other shadow.On that Day, Allah Almighty will especially Grant three kinds of
people a place under his trone:
1. Whosoever removed some difficulty of my Ummah and solved his hardship

3. And Whoever recited Doorud Sharif on me abundantly
8."Allah Almighty has appointed a group of angels who travel the world, and in my Ummah, whoever sends salutatations to me, those salutations are presented to me

Muslims regard the Quran as the most important miracle of Muhammad, a proof of his prophethood, and the culmination of a series of divine messages that started with the messages revealed to Adam and ended with Muhammad. The word "Quran" occurs some 70 times in the text of the Quran, although different names and words are also said to be references to the Quran.

Nouman Ali Khan
Nouman Ali Khan is an American Muslim speaker and founder, CEO and lead instructor at The Bayyinah and the Institute for Arabic and Qur'anic Studies.
Nouman founded Bayyinah in 2006, after serving as the professor of Arabic at Nassau Community College. His current residence is in Dallas, Texas. He also lectures internationally on the matters of Tafsir and learning Arabic to understand the Quran. He has been named one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the world by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre of Jordan. He has 7 children and has trained with the oldest for an Arabic Learning series called "Arabic With Husna".

Allah
Allah (English pronunciation: /ˈælə/, /ˈɑːlə/ or /əlˈlɑː/;Arabic: الله Allāh, IPA: [ʔalˤˈlˤɑːh]) is the Arabic word for God (al ilāh, literally "the God"), referring to the God in Abrahamic religions. The word has cognates in other Semitic languages, including Elah in Aramaic, ʾĒl in Canaanite and Elohim in Hebrew.
It is now mainly used by Muslims to refer to God in Islam, but has been also used by Arab Christians since pre-Islamic times. It is also often, albeit not exclusively, used by Bábists, Bahá'ís, Indonesian and Maltese Christians, and Mizrahi Jews. Christians and Sikhs in West Malaysia also use and have used the word to refer to God. This has caused political and legal controversies there as the law in West Malaysia prohibits non-Islamic uses of the word.
Etymology
The term Allāh is derived from a contraction of the Arabic definite article al- "the" and ilāh "deity, god" to al-lāh meaning "the deity", or "the God".Cognates of the name "Allāh" exist in other Semitic languages, including Hebrew and Aramaic. The corresponding Aramaic form is Elah (אלה), but its emphatic state is Elaha (אלהא). It is written as ܐܠܗܐ (ʼĔlāhā) in Biblical Aramaic and ܐܲܠܵܗܵܐ (ʼAlâhâ) in Syriac as used by the Assyrian Church, both meaning simply "God".Biblical Hebrew mostly uses the plural (but functional singular) form Elohim (אלהים), but more rarely it also uses the singular form Eloah (אלוהּ). In the Sikh scripture of Guru Granth Sahib, the term Allah (Punjabi: ਅਲਹੁ) is used 37 times.

They (think to) deceive Allah and those who believe, while they only deceive themselves, and perceive (it) not! 10. In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. O you who believe! Send Blessings (Durood) and Salutations (Salaams) on the Prophet with worthy Salutation".(Surah al-Ahzab: 56) --- Durood or Darood Shareef (from Persian: dorood) is an invocation which Muslims make by saying specific phrases to compliment the Islamic prophet Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) Durood has various other names like Durood Sahreef, Salawat, Salat ala Nabi, Salat-un-Nabi. Qur'an --- Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. --- Qur'an, Sura 33 (al-Ahzab, ayah 56) In this verse of the Qur'an, God, the Mala'ikah and the Muslims have been mentioned as sending Durood upon Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) So, Durood Shareef is actually a Dua in praise of Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) When God sends Durood and Salaams upon Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) --- Hazrat Anas (radi Allahu anhu) narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "He who reads a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah blesses him ten times, ten of his sins are forgiven, and he is increased ten times in stages (internally). (Mishkaat) --- Hazrat Abdullah ibn Ma'sud (radi Allahu anhu) also narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those who have read the most amount of Durood Shareef". (Tirmidhi) HOLY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) HADITH ABOUT DUROOD SHARIF 1." On the day of Qiyamah the person closest to me will be the one who has sent the most Durood unto me. " (TIRMIZI) 2." On Fridays, send Durood abundantly on me, as it is presented before me. " (ABU DAWUD) 3. " If any person, who writing my name, sends darood Sharif to me,then for as long as my name remains in that book, Angels will make Du'a of mercy for him. " 4. "Whoever recites Durood at my grave, I hear it myself. And whoesoever recites it from a distance, Angels present them to me." (BAIHAQI) 5. "On the day of Qiyamah, that person will be protected from the frightfulness of Qiyamah who recited durood abundantly to me." (SA'AYA) 6. "For the reciter of durood, Allah sends 70 blessings on him and the angels make dua for him 70 times."(TIBRANI) 7. " On the Day of Qiyamah, besides the Shadow of the Throne, there would be no other shadow.On that Day, Allah Almighty will especially Grant three kinds of people a place under his trone: 1. Whosoever removed some difficulty of my Ummah and solved his hardship 2. Whoever revived my Sunnah 3. And Whoever recited Doorud Sharif on me abundantly 8."Allah Almighty has appointed a group of angels who travel the world, and in my Ummah, whoever sends salutatations to me, those salutations are presented to me by these angels." (IBNE HABBAN) 9." Recite durood sharief abundantly on me, it will be a means of cleanliness and purity for you." (ABU YA"LA) 10."Before whomsoever my mention is made, he should recite durood sharief upon me." (Nasa"I) 11. " Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI) 12. " Whosoever recites Durood Shareef a 1000 times on me daily, then before death he will see his abode in Jannah." ( SA'AYA) 13. " Whosoever recites Durood Sharief upon me once, the Allah Almighty orders the Kiraman-Katibeen not to record any (minor) sins of the reciter for 3 days." 14. " Send Durood Sharief on me, Allah will also send Durood on you." DUROOD SHARIF SALAWAT IN THE LIGHT OF HOLY HADITH "On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those that have read the most amount of Durood ". (Tirmidhi: Kanzul Amaal) "On the Day of Qiyamah, at all places the closest to me will be those that have read the most number of Durood ." (Sa-daatud Daarain) "He who sends a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah rewards him ten times and ten good deeds are recorded in his book of good deeds". (Tirmidhi) "He who reads a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah blesses him ten times, ten of his sins are forgiven and he is increased ten times in stages (spiritually)". (Mishkaat) Angels of Allah shower 70 blessings on a man who recites Durood once. If a person recites 1,000 Durood Shareef daily, he will never die unless he himself sees his place in Heaven with his own eyes. -

Surah Ad-Duhaa - Day 18 - Ramadan with the Quran
Explaining the context of Surah Ad-Duhaa, Ustadh Nouman says that according to several narrations, the surah came down at a moment of sadness in Prophet Muhammad's life when no Quran was revealed to him for a few days. When the Prophet starts doubting himself and getting anxious, Allah gave him a beautiful consolation, telling him that he was wrong, that He has not abandoned him and promising him that he will reach the end of his mission and witness its results. These ayat, says Ustadh, are also a message of hope to us. They teach us that sometimes we will experience gaps in our connection with Allah, but that we can always come back.

When the Prophet starts doubting himself and getting anxious, Allah gave him a beautiful consolation, telling him that he was wrong, that He has not abandoned him and promising him that he will reach the end of his mission and witness its results. These ayat, says Ustadh, are also a message of hope to us. They teach us that sometimes we will experience gaps in our connection with Allah, but that we can always come back.

Since the last three years Shan-e-Ramzan has been living on its tradition of being the best Ramzan transmission with Junaid Jamshed and Waseem Badami as its hosts. This year, sadly, with Junaid Jamshed not being amongst us, Waseem Badami will be seen hosting the show alone. He was seen remembering Junaid Jamshed on this occasion:
This year Ramzan will be seen being celebrated on a much grander scale through Shan-e-Sehr and Shan-e-Iftaar everyday live on ARY Digital at 1:30 am and 2:30 pm respectively. The shows are religiously and culturally enriched uplifting the essence of Ramazan.
The Shan-Ramazan transmission starting off with the recitation and translation of the Holy Quran in the soulful voice of Qari Waheed Zafar Qasmi will feature religious scholars as guests followed by a question/answer session to discuss various Islamic issues. This will be followed by a daily interactive segment in Sehr & Iftar in which audience will be answering the questions to win exciting prizes. Students from different universities and colleges will participate in an Islamic quiz to win a bumper prize.
Notable scholar Mufti Sohail Raza Amjadi, will do a daily segment in Shan-e-Seher where he will suggest different virtuous supplications to audience.

1. Alif-Lam-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].
2. This is the Book (the Qur'an), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)].
3. Who believe in the Ghaib and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and spend out of what we have provided for them [i.e. give Zakat , spend on themselves, their parents, their children, their wives, etc., and also give charity to the poor and also in Allah's Cause - Jihad, etc.].
4. And who believe in (the Qur'an and the Sunnah) which has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him ) and in [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.] which were sent down before you and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. (Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc.).
5. They are on (true) guidance from their Lord, and they are the successful.
6. Verily, those who disbelieve, it is the same to them whether you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ) warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe.
7. Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearings, (i.e. they are closed from accepting Allah's Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great torment.
8. And of mankind, there are some (hypocrites) who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day" while in fact they believe not.
9. They (think to) deceive Allah and those who believe, while they only deceive themselves, and perceive (it) not!
10. In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies.

O you who believe! Send Blessings (Durood) and Salutations (Salaams) on the Prophet with worthy Salutation".(Surah al-Ahzab: 56) --- Durood or Darood Shareef (from Persian: dorood) is an invocation which Muslims make by saying specific phrases to compliment the Islamic prophet Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) Durood has various other names like Durood Sahreef, Salawat, Salat ala Nabi, Salat-un-Nabi. Qur'an --- Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. --- Qur'an, Sura 33 (al-Ahzab, ayah 56) In this verse of the Qur'an, God, the Mala'ikah and the Muslims have been mentioned as sending Durood upon Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) So, Durood Shareef is actually a Dua in praise of Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) When God sends Durood and Salaams upon Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)
--- Hazrat Anas (radi Allahu anhu) narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "He who reads a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah blesses him ten times, ten of his sins are forgiven, and he is increased ten times in stages (internally). (Mishkaat)
--- Hazrat Abdullah ibn Ma'sud (radi Allahu anhu) also narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those who have read the most amount of Durood Shareef". (Tirmidhi)
HOLY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) HADITH ABOUT DUROOD SHARIF
1." On the day of Qiyamah the person closest to me will be the one who has sent the most Durood unto me. " (TIRMIZI)
2." On Fridays, send Durood abundantly on me, as it is presented before me. " (ABU DAWUD)
3. " If any person, who writing my name, sends darood Sharif to me,then for as long as my name remains in that book, Angels will make Du'a of mercy for him. "
4. "Whoever recites Durood at my grave, I hear it myself. And whoesoever recites it from a distance, Angels present them to me." (BAIHAQI)
5. "On the day of Qiyamah, that person will be protected from the frightfulness of Qiyamah who recited durood abundantly to me." (SA'AYA)
6. "For the reciter of durood, Allah sends 70 blessings on him and the angels make dua for him 70 times."(TIBRANI)
7. " On the Day of Qiyamah, besides the Shadow of the Throne, there would be no other shadow.On that Day, Allah Almighty will especially Grant three kinds of
people a place under his trone:
1. Whosoever removed some difficulty of my Ummah and solved his hardship
2. Whoever revived my Sunnah
3. And Whoever recited Doorud Sharif on me abundantly
8."Allah Almighty has appointed a group of angels who travel the world, and in my Ummah, whoever sends salutatations to me, those salutations are presented to me
by these angels." (IBNE HABBAN)
9." Recite durood sharief abundantly on me, it will be a means of cleanliness and purity for you." (ABU YA"LA)
10."Before whomsoever my mention is made, he should recite durood sharief upon me." (Nasa"I)
11. " Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI)
12. " Whosoever recites Durood Shareef a 1000 times on me daily, then before death he will see his abode in Jannah." ( SA'AYA)
13. " Whosoever recites Durood Sharief upon me once, the Allah Almighty orders the Kiraman-Katibeen not to record any (minor) sins of the reciter for 3 days."
14. " Send Durood Sharief on me, Allah will also send Durood on you."
DUROOD SHARIF SALAWAT IN THE LIGHT OF HOLY HADITH
"On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those that have read the most amount of Durood ". (Tirmidhi: Kanzul Amaal)

If a person recites 1,000 Durood Shareef daily, he will never die unless he himself sees his place in Heaven with his own eyes.

O you who believe! Send Blessings (Durood) and Salutations (Salaams) on the Prophet with worthy Salutation".(Surah al-Ahzab: 56) --- Durood or Darood Shareef (from Persian: dorood) is an invocation which Muslims make by saying specific phrases to compliment the Islamic prophet Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) Durood has various other names like Durood Sahreef, Salawat, Salat ala Nabi, Salat-un-Nabi. Qur'an --- Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. --- Qur'an, Sura 33 (al-Ahzab, ayah 56) In this verse of the Qur'an, God, the Mala'ikah and the Muslims have been mentioned as sending Durood upon Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) So, Durood Shareef is actually a Dua in praise of Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) When God sends Durood and Salaams upon Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)
--- Hazrat Anas (radi Allahu anhu) narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "He who reads a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah blesses him ten times, ten of his sins are forgiven, and he is increased ten times in stages (internally). (Mishkaat)
--- Hazrat Abdullah ibn Ma'sud (radi Allahu anhu) also narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those who have read the most amount of Durood Shareef". (Tirmidhi)
HOLY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) HADITH ABOUT DUROOD SHARIF
1." On the day of Qiyamah the person closest to me will be the one who has sent the most Durood unto me. " (TIRMIZI)
2." On Fridays, send Durood abundantly on me, as it is presented before me. " (ABU DAWUD)
3. " If any person, who writing my name, sends darood Sharif to me,then for as long as my name remains in that book, Angels will make Du'a of mercy for him. "
4. "Whoever recites Durood at my grave, I hear it myself. And whoesoever recites it from a distance, Angels present them to me." (BAIHAQI)
5. "On the day of Qiyamah, that person will be protected from the frightfulness of Qiyamah who recited durood abundantly to me." (SA'AYA)
6. "For the reciter of durood, Allah sends 70 blessings on him and the angels make dua for him 70 times."(TIBRANI)
7. " On the Day of Qiyamah, besides the Shadow of the Throne, there would be no other shadow.On that Day, Allah Almighty will especially Grant three kinds of
people a place under his trone:
1. Whosoever removed some difficulty of my Ummah and solved his hardship
2. Whoever revived my Sunnah
3. And Whoever recited Doorud Sharif on me abundantly
8."Allah Almighty has appointed a group of angels who travel the world, and in my Ummah, whoever sends salutatations to me, those salutations are presented to me
by these angels." (IBNE HABBAN)
9." Recite durood sharief abundantly on me, it will be a means of cleanliness and purity for you." (ABU YA"LA)
10."Before whomsoever my mention is made, he should recite durood sharief upon me." (Nasa"I)
11. " Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI)
12. " Whosoever recites Durood Shareef a 1000 times on me daily, then before death he will see his abode in Jannah." ( SA'AYA)
13. " Whosoever recites Durood Sharief upon me once, the Allah Almighty orders the Kiraman-Katibeen not to record any (minor) sins of the reciter for 3 days."
14. " Send Durood Sharief on me, Allah will also send Durood on you."
DUROOD SHARIF SALAWAT IN THE LIGHT OF HOLY HADITH
"On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those that have read the most amount of Durood ". (Tirmidhi: Kanzul Amaal)
"On the Day of Qiyamah, at all places the closest to me will be those that have read the most number of Durood ." (Sa-daatud Daarain)
"He who sends a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah rewards him ten times and ten good deeds are recorded in his book of good deeds". (Tirmidhi)
"He who reads a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah blesses him ten times, ten of his sins are forgiven and he is increased ten times in stages (spiritually)".

Angels of Allah shower 70 blessings on a man who recites Durood once.
If a person recites 1,000 Durood Shareef daily, he will never die unless he himself sees his place in Heaven with his own eyes.

Surah Ad-Duhaa - Day 18 - Ramadan with the Quran
Explaining the context of Surah Ad-Duhaa, Ustadh Nouman says that according to several narrations, the surah came down at a moment of sadness in Prophet Muhammad's life when no Quran was revealed to him for a few days. When the Prophet starts doubting himself and getting anxious, Allah gave him a beautiful consolation, telling him that he was wrong, that He has not abandoned him and promising him that he will reach the end of his mission and witness its results. These ayat, says Ustadh, are also a message of hope to us. They teach us that sometimes we will experience gaps in our connection with Allah, but that we can always come back.

Explaining the context of Surah Ad-Duhaa, Ustadh Nouman says that according to several narrations, the surah came down at a moment of sadness in Prophet Muhammad's life when no Quran was revealed to him for a few days. When the Prophet starts doubting himself and getting anxious, Allah gave him a beautiful consolation, telling him that he was wrong, that He has not abandoned him and promising him that he will reach the end of his mission and witness its results. These ayat, says Ustadh, are also a message of hope to us. They teach us that sometimes we will experience gaps in our connection with Allah, but that we can always come back.

Since the last three years Shan-e-Ramzan has been living on its tradition of being the best Ramzan transmission with Junaid Jamshed and Waseem Badami as its hosts. This year, sadly, with Junaid Jamshed not being amongst us, Waseem Badami will be seen hosting the show alone. He was seen remembering Junaid Jamshed on this occasion:
This year Ramzan will be seen being celebrated on a much grander scale through Shan-e-Sehr and Shan-e-Iftaar everyday live on ARY Digital at 1:30 am and 2:30 pm respectively. The shows are religiously and culturally enriched uplifting the essence of Ramazan.
The Shan-Ramazan transmission starting off with the recitation and translation of the Holy Quran in the soulful voice of Qari Waheed Zafar Qasmi will feature religious scholars as guests followed by a question/answer session to discuss various Islamic issues. This will be followed by a daily interactive segment in Sehr & Iftar in which audience will be answering the questions to win exciting prizes. Students from different universities and colleges will participate in an Islamic quiz to win a bumper prize.
Notable scholar Mufti Sohail Raza Amjadi, will do a daily segment in Shan-e-Seher where he will suggest different virtuous supplications to audience.
A segment in Shan-e-Sehr will also provide viewers to be part of Shan-e-Ramazan Transmission from their home by special LIVE Skype session. Wasim Badami along with notable scholars will have live Sehri with audience while discussing different Islamic queries.

1. Alif-Lam-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Qur'an and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings].
2. This is the Book (the Qur'an), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)].
3. Who believe in the Ghaib and perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), and spend out of what we have provided for them [i.e. give Zakat , spend on themselves, their parents, their children, their wives, etc., and also give charity to the poor and also in Allah's Cause - Jihad, etc.].
4. And who believe in (the Qur'an and the Sunnah) which has been sent down (revealed) to you (Muhammad Peace be upon him ) and in [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel), etc.] which were sent down before you and they believe with certainty in the Hereafter. (Resurrection, recompense of their good and bad deeds, Paradise and Hell, etc.).
5. They are on (true) guidance from their Lord, and they are the successful.
6. Verily, those who disbelieve, it is the same to them whether you (O Muhammad Peace be upon him ) warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe.
7. Allah has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearings, (i.e. they are closed from accepting Allah's Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great torment.
8. And of mankind, there are some (hypocrites) who say: "We believe in Allah and the Last Day" while in fact they believe not.
9. They (think to) deceive Allah and those who believe, while they only deceive themselves, and perceive (it) not!
10. In their hearts is a disease (of doubt and hypocrisy) and Allah has increased their disease. A painful torment is theirs because they used to tell lies.

O you who believe! Send Blessings (Durood) and Salutations (Salaams) on the Prophet with worthy Salutation".(Surah al-Ahzab: 56) --- Durood or Darood Shareef (from Persian: dorood) is an invocation which Muslims make by saying specific phrases to compliment the Islamic prophet Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) Durood has various other names like Durood Sahreef, Salawat, Salat ala Nabi, Salat-un-Nabi. Qur'an --- Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send ye blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. --- Qur'an, Sura 33 (al-Ahzab, ayah 56) In this verse of the Qur'an, God, the Mala'ikah and the Muslims have been mentioned as sending Durood upon Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) So, Durood Shareef is actually a Dua in praise of Muhammad. (p.b.u.h.) When God sends Durood and Salaams upon Muhammad (p.b.u.h.)
--- Hazrat Anas (radi Allahu anhu) narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "He who reads a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah blesses him ten times, ten of his sins are forgiven, and he is increased ten times in stages (internally). (Mishkaat)
--- Hazrat Abdullah ibn Ma'sud (radi Allahu anhu) also narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said: "On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those who have read the most amount of Durood Shareef". (Tirmidhi)
HOLY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SALLALLAHU ALAYHI WA SALLAM) HADITH ABOUT DUROOD SHARIF
1." On the day of Qiyamah the person closest to me will be the one who has sent the most Durood unto me. " (TIRMIZI)
2." On Fridays, send Durood abundantly on me, as it is presented before me. " (ABU DAWUD)
3. " If any person, who writing my name, sends darood Sharif to me,then for as long as my name remains in that book, Angels will make Du'a of mercy for him. "
4. "Whoever recites Durood at my grave, I hear it myself. And whoesoever recites it from a distance, Angels present them to me." (BAIHAQI)
5. "On the day of Qiyamah, that person will be protected from the frightfulness of Qiyamah who recited durood abundantly to me." (SA'AYA)
6. "For the reciter of durood, Allah sends 70 blessings on him and the angels make dua for him 70 times."(TIBRANI)
7. " On the Day of Qiyamah, besides the Shadow of the Throne, there would be no other shadow.On that Day, Allah Almighty will especially Grant three kinds of
people a place under his trone:
1. Whosoever removed some difficulty of my Ummah and solved his hardship
2. Whoever revived my Sunnah
3. And Whoever recited Doorud Sharif on me abundantly
8."Allah Almighty has appointed a group of angels who travel the world, and in my Ummah, whoever sends salutatations to me, those salutations are presented to me
by these angels." (IBNE HABBAN)
9." Recite durood sharief abundantly on me, it will be a means of cleanliness and purity for you." (ABU YA"LA)
10."Before whomsoever my mention is made, he should recite durood sharief upon me." (Nasa"I)
11. " Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI)
12. " Whosoever recites Durood Shareef a 1000 times on me daily, then before death he will see his abode in Jannah." ( SA'AYA)
13. " Whosoever recites Durood Sharief upon me once, the Allah Almighty orders the Kiraman-Katibeen not to record any (minor) sins of the reciter for 3 days."
14. " Send Durood Sharief on me, Allah will also send Durood on you."
DUROOD SHARIF SALAWAT IN THE LIGHT OF HOLY HADITH
"On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those that have read the most amount of Durood ". (Tirmidhi: Kanzul Amaal)
"On the Day of Qiyamah, at all places the closest to me will be those that have read the most number of Durood ." (Sa-daatud Daarain)
"He who sends a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah rewards him ten times and ten good deeds are recorded in his book of good deeds". (Tirmidhi)
"He who reads a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah blesses him ten times, ten of his sins are forgiven and he is increased ten times in stages (spiritually)".

Angels of Allah shower 70 blessings on a man who recites Durood once.
If a person recites 1,000 Durood Shareef daily, he will never die unless he himself sees his place in Heaven with his own eyes.

DUROOD SHARIF SALAWAT IN THE LIGHT OF HOLY HADITH
"On the Day of Qiyamah, the closest to me from among the people will be those that have read the most amount of Durood ". (Tirmidhi: Kanzul Amaal)
"On the Day of Qiyamah, at all places the closest to me will be those that have read the most number of Durood ." (Sa-daatud Daarain)
"He who sends a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah rewards him ten times and ten good deeds are recorded in his book of good deeds". (Tirmidhi)
"He who reads a single Durood upon me, Almighty Allah blesses him ten times, ten of his sins are forgiven and he is increased ten times in stages (spiritually)".
(Mishkaat)
Angels of Allah shower 70 blessings on a man who recites Durood once.
If a person recites 1,000 Durood Shareef daily, he will never die unless he himself sees his place in Heaven with his own eyes.
