Arthur Villanueva KO'ed Juan Jimenez clean in the 2nd round of their second fight. The hard-hitting Jimenez came out strong in the early seconds of their 2nd fight, landing solid shots to Villanueva but it was Villanueva who capitalized from that aggression and was able to throw a perfect timed overhand counter to the Jaw of the Mexican. The fight was an undercard of the Pinoy Pride 38: Philippines vs. Mexico at the StubHub Center in Carson, California.

Before he became the starting left tackle for the Steelers, Villanueva served three tours of duty in Afghanistan. While there, as Ashley Fox reports, he forged a bond with his Afghan interpreter, Mohammad Arif Azimi. After U.S. troops left Afghanistan, Azimi’s life was in danger as Taliban forces were seeking retribution for his role in assisting the American soldiers. Villanueva helped Azimi immigrate to the United States 16 months ago on a special immigrant visa. Last weekend, SC Featured was with Villanueva as he reconnected with an old and trusted friend he had not seen since 2012.
Your thoughts are betrayal always the same
Divine abandone always the same
Good and gentle like the shyness
And suddenly dazzled by the rays of a golden life
I feel it coming, feel it coming
And it's all going down
I'm your slave and your victim
I'm in the mire selling myself
Your games surround me in that gloomy future
Oh, what will you have made of me
I feel it coming, feel it coming and it's all going
I feel it coming, feel it coming and it's all going down
So will I be lost and all alone
Abondoned on a dessert plain
My past returns before my eyes
And I'm going down, 'cause it's going down
It's all going down
And I'm going down, 'cause all is going down
It's all going down, going down
I am loyal, and forever
Know my duty
Must leave this place
And take with me only my heart
Oh, just to save it
