THE RlTCHlE F@MlLY - B@D R3PUT@TlON (1979/2012) R3M@ST3RED

The Ritchie Family were a group formed by Jaques Morali, who also created The Village People.  Their biggest hit came during the Disco era with 'The Best Disco In Town'.  After 4 concept albums, some slight line up changes and a europop album, they returned in 1979 with their 'Bad Reputation' album.  Co-written by Victor Willis (the original Lead Singer of The Village People), they abandoned their exotic & Kitsch costumes and style for a more contemporary, sexually provocative style.  Probably their lowest selling album, but their next album 'Give Me A Break' was a minor hit, thanks in part to the band appearing in the Village People movie 'Can't Stop The Music'.

While the album was not a big hit, but it has remained a favourite with fans, many of whom are glad to see it finally released on CD.

This is the 2012 Remastered Gold Legion CD issue.
