Paper is a thin material produced by pressing together moist fibres of cellulose pulp derived from wood, rags or grasses, and drying them into flexible sheets. It is a versatile material with many uses, including writing, printing, packaging, cleaning, and a number of industrial and construction processes.
The pulp papermaking process is said to have been developed in China during the early 2nd century AD, possibly as early as the year 105 A.D., by the Han court eunuch Cai Lun, although the earliest archaeological fragments of paper derive from the 2nd century BC in China. The modern pulp and paper industry is global, with China leading its production and the United States right behind it.
The oldest known archaeological fragments of the immediate precursor to modern paper, date to the 2nd century BC in China. The pulp papermaking process is ascribed to Cai Lun, a 2nd-century AD Han court eunuch. With paper as an effective substitute for silk in many applications, China could export silk in greater quantity, contributing to a Golden Age.
Design is the creation of a plan or convention for the construction of an object or a system (as in architectural blueprints, engineering drawings, business processes, circuit diagrams and sewing patterns). Design has different connotations in different fields (see design disciplines below). In some cases the direct construction of an object (as in pottery, engineering, management, cowboy coding and graphic design) is also considered to be design.
Designing often necessitates considering the aesthetic, functional, economic and sociopolitical dimensions of both the design object and design process. It may involve considerable research, thought, modeling, interactive adjustment, and re-design. Meanwhile, diverse kinds of objects may be designed, including clothing, graphical user interfaces, skyscrapers, corporate identities, business processes and even methods of designing.
Thus "design" may be a substantive referring to a categorical abstraction of a created thing or things (the design of something), or a verb for the process of creation, as is made clear by grammatical context.
"Thank you" is a common expression of gratitude. It often refers to a thank you letter, a letter written to express appreciation.
Thank You or Thank U may also refer to:
"Paper Planes" is a song by British rapper M.I.A. from her second studio album, Kala (2007). The song was written by M.I.A. and Diplo. The song's backing track is a sample of the 1982 song "Straight to Hell" by The Clash, and the members of The Clash are credited as co-writers of the song. The chorus of "Paper Planes" was widely speculated to be based on the chorus to the 1992 song "Rump Shaker" by Wreckx-N-Effect, although that song's writers are not credited. It was produced by Diplo with additional production by Switch. "Paper Planes" was released for download in August 2007 and as the album's third single by XL Recordings and Interscope Records on 11 February 2008.
"Paper Planes" is a downtempo rap ballad, with a folk style melody considered less dance-influenced than the other songs on the album. The song ignited wide acclaim upon release, and contemporary critics complimented its music direction and the subversive, unconventional subject matter of the piece, citing its chorus and its lyrical humour in the promotion of globalization. Rolling Stone, Rockdelux, Stylus, NME and The Guardian ranked "Paper Planes" highly in their lists of the best songs of the year, the 2000s decade and in some cases of all-time. The song won the Indie Award for Favourite International Single at the 2009 Canadian Independent Music Awards and the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) recognized the song as one of the most performed ones of 2008 at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards. Several artists have covered the song and released their own remixes.

I made a video in March 2011 called how to draw a cool signature. It was really how to design a logo type of signature. Nearly 350,000 people have watched that video to date! Its obviously something that people have difficulty with. I know because they keep writing to me and tweeting and posting for me to do their signature for them. I can’t do your signature. A signature has to come from you. Start slowly and let your hand do what it wants to do. You may have to write your signature 5,000 times before you get it right! When you are happy with your signature, practice and practice until your hand can do it with out you having to think about it. That is when you have got your own recognisable signature. If you say you can't - it just means you can't be bothered to experiment and pra...

Learn to make an origami / kirigami mermaid with this easy origami tutorial. This origami mermaid requires 3 sheets of paper and a pair of scissors to snip the tail. You'll also need some glue or tape to secure the paper mermaid pieces together. The origami mermaid can be decorated with markers, glitter, sequins, and other embellishments. For my origami mermaid, I drew on scales for the paper mermaid tail, a flower in my mermaid's hair, and two shells for the mermaid's chest. These origami mermaids are cute, fun, and perfect for origami beginners. Origami Mermaid design by Jenny W. Chan, Origami Tree, Copyright® 2017. DO NOT REPLICATE TUTORIAL.
