What is Fulfilment by Amazon?

Most Amazon sellers opt for FBA when they want to generate more sales without necessarily
investing more in logistics. FBA helps sellers of any size scale their business, in just a few days,
from selling in one country to selling across Europe.

Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA) is a group of fulfilment solutions offered by Amazon to its sellers,
in order to empower them to trade faster and easier across Europe. Opting for FBA essentially
means choosing to let Amazon store, pick, pack and deliver your products to the buyer’s address.

83%

Why do FBA products end up by selling more?

FBA products communicate to buyers a set of benefits that make them stand out from the crowd: listed with the “fulfilled by Amazon” remark, they are often displayed next to the Amazon Buy Box and when eligible they are automatically enabled with Prime delivery options in all five of Amazon’s European Marketplaces.

Prime badge listing

FBA products are listed with the Prime badge alongside. This comes in handy for Amazon “Prime” buyers who filter their search results to weed out sellers not offering Prime shipping.

Fulfilment by Amazon trucks

When a buyer selects your product he will pick an available shipping option. Buyers favor your products fulfilled directly by Amazon.

Win the Buy Box
Products fulfilled by Amazon have increased chances to win the Buy Box. When you win the “Buy Box” this will be displayed alongside your product so that when buyers select “Add to Basket” they will be buying your product.

Amazon Prime

When you join FBA, your products that are eligible for Prime automatically gain Prime status, which can increase your product exposure and competitiveness.

Amazon Prime is an increasingly popular membership programme for Amazon customers; it gives them fast and unlimited One-Day delivery on eligible purchases plus additional advantages for an annual membership of £79.

Amazon Prime subscribers are among Amazon's most loyal customers and often order more frequently, making their purchasing decisions based on the delivery options available to them. They often filter products they’re considering purchasing in order to only see items that are eligible for Prime.
