I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 3 years)
Pros
Excellent benefits, lots of options and lowest cost; 401k 100% matching
Cons
As with most large organizations your work life greatly depends on the local management in place and it is very difficult to get information outside your location or to give feedback to the company heads. Pay tends to be lower but when factoring in benefits overall comp remains competitive. Expect to be expected to work as long as it takes when your workgroup is busy overtime will be required.
Advice to Management
Require more engagement with lower level employees, have more consistency in practices across the country and get highest ranking execs to interact with lowest level somehow to know what is the local cultures.
I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 5 years)
Pros
Opportunies for growth, you can move up and around quickly. Diverse, paid holidays, Pre filled PTO banks, Incentive compensation, Tuition reimbursement, Kincare, FMLA, and LOA
Cons
Management is messy, micromanaging, unprofessional, and two-faced. Politics are huge here. They love brown-nosers. I've worked in various lines of business and the management has the same culture. Must be displayed from higher ups since so many are modeling this behavior. At the end of the day, your just a number. So don't make it too much priority, it's just a job.
Advice to Management
Don't let your title go to your head. Be genuine, be positive. Value your dedicated team members if you want them to give there best performance.

I worked at Wells Fargo full-time (More than 10 years)
Pros
Good Benefits, Health, Life Ins., 401K, PTO, STD, etc. Good environment and has great Accommodations Management. Coast to Coast branches.
Cons
Too focused on sales and not enough focus on employees that really do all the work for Wells Fargo customers. I had a top performing team that beat all deadlines and goals and was treated terrible after 15 years of dedicated service.
Advice to Management
Pay more attention to the Supervisors and Team Leads and less attention to the Managers that take credit for work they never did.
I have been working at Wells Fargo full-time (More than a year)
Pros
It pays the bills, better to have a job than no job, competitive initial salary, work with good people as colleagues
Cons
Upper management is clueless, pay increases are terrible, bonuses are based on company profitability not part of your pay, very inflexible schedule, little appreciation for your work
Advice to Management
Show appreciation, admit mistakes, be honest

Pros
-Benefits (PTO, tuition reimbursement, & insurances)

-"Culture of caring"- at least in the phone bank, I've seen so many occasions of this company working for it's employees who then work for the customers
-Amazing job opportunities- if you work your butt off- you will be rewarded! (I have worked here for 3 years and have gotten 3 promotions and 6 raises within those jobs)
-Flexibility when life happens (moved across the country for a job transfer within WF and had to come back within a week due to a family member getting ill- there was no problems in coming back to my old position. No questions asked.
Cons
Long hours when you start out- obviously as a salaried employee it can become taxing. But once you get a hang of things- you are right back to a 40 hour work week.
