Robert Fitzgerald Diggs (born July 5, 1969), better known by his stage name RZA (/ˈrɪzə/ RIZ-ə), is an American music producer, multi-instrumentalist, author, rapper, actor, composer, and filmmaker. A prominent figure in hip hop, RZA is the de facto leader of the Wu-Tang Clan. He has produced almost all of Wu-Tang Clan's albums as well as many Wu-Tang solo and affiliate projects. He is a cousin of the late group-mate, Ol' Dirty Bastard and GZA (who also formed the group with RZA). He has also released solo albums under the alter-ego Bobby Digital, along with executive producing credits for side projects.
In addition to the Wu-Tang Clan and his solo releases, RZA was also a founding member of the horrorcore Hip Hop group Gravediggaz where he used the name The RZArector. Furthermore, he has acted in several movies, including Coffee and Cigarettes, American Gangster, Gospel Hill, Life Is Hot in Cracktown, Ghost Dog, Funny People, Derailed, Due Date and Repo Men. He also appeared in the Showtime TV series Californication. His directorial debut is for the film he co-wrote and in which he plays the title role, The Man with the Iron Fists, also starring Russell Crowe. On November 1, 2012, he introduced the movie at a preview screening in the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria, Queens, the evening before the Universal picture opened nationwide.

Fariz and his family move into a Baku apartment block from war-torn Nagorno-Karabakh. Fariz's relations with his new neighbors are strained by his accusations that it was people like them who failed to support the Azeris in their conflict with ethnic Armenians. The only one who stands up to him is Alik, who acts as peacemaker between him and the older inhabitants of the building. Alik has no reservations about brandishing his gun in order to keep the peace. One day, the apartment managers want to evict a number of musicians who have been squatting in the basement. Alik gets involved, but soon discovers the situation is more complicated that he first believed.

Yo! This is another upload for all the real Wu-Tang/RZA fans! :) It's the full soundtrack score album from the movie "Ghost Dog: The Way Of The Samurai" by The RZA! It's the japan import version, released in 1999! There are 2 Versions of the soundtrack: The first one is an album with Hip-Hop tracks (all produced by RZA) that mostly do not appear in the movie. The artists on the album are all affiliates from the Wu-Tang family plus some other well-known MCs like Kool G Rap, Jeru The Damaja and more. Only a few songs from the soundtrack can be heard in the movie. The second version was only released in Japan! So its very expensive and also hard to find. It features all the RZA-produced Instrumentals that are used in the movie! Also, there are some bonus beats and songs from the Wu-T...

Back in 2014, before RZA was embroiled in a scandal involving Azealia Banks getting thrown out of Russell Crowe's private party by the actor himself, the Wu-Tang leader was speaking on Jay Z and Solange's now-infamous elevator fight. RZA addressed the situation by saying, "There's always somebody in the family that make your day go different, man." He added, "We got crazy cousins, crazy sisters, crazy aunts and uncles in our family, man. That happens."

Shi Yan Ming was a pleasure to meet. He has been involved in many movies and productions in the past and yet was extremely nice and easy to deal with- even during the interview when there was a freakin’ earthquake! No joke, we found out later on that an earthquake, which originated in Virginia, had effected a lot of the east coast. But meeting Shi Yan Ming was great as he let us shoot him in his beautiful studio on the edge of Chinatown. Seeing a huge Wu Tang symbol in the corner of the studio was funny as well (the RZA has been a student of his for many years). http://nyorkers.com http://www.moonshot-productions.com
Who?: Jabari Johnson is fresh out of college, embarking on a new creative journey in his web series of "Jabari Presents." Already several episodes in, the results are certainly impressive. Before this, Jabari did a ton of interviews with a lot of music artists ranging from Nicki Minaj to RZA (of Wu-Tang) to Justin Beiber. Tales of the Visual: Jabari and I met in Central Park a few weeks ago to discuss everything from his start with interviewing, his love for hip hop, why he decided to take it to the next level with Jabari Presents, and much more. It's always great to meet someone else who does conversations/interviews and see the similarities and differences in their methods and style. This is the fourth episode of a series under Boundless Dreams TV called 'Youngest in Charge.' The ser...

"To understand something, you must first look to its origin." Kool G Rap who hails from Queens, New York, is undoubtedly one of the most important artists in the early stages of hip-hop. Having worked with other legends such as Nas, DJ Polo, RZA, Big Daddy Kane, DJ Premier & Alchemist, Kool G has been cited as major influences in the lives and careers of Jay-Z, Eminem, Big Pun and RZA. We Skyped Kool G & had an in depth conversation on the past & present state of hip-hop. He talks on the early stages of the game; from the fashion to the grit of early rap, all the way to modern rappers, including Drake, Lil Wayne & J. Cole. He also sheds light on his relationships with Jay-Z & Rick Ross, and talks on a near signing to 'Maybach Music.' A truly legendary individual shares valuable, origi...
Over the first half of this year it’s been my pleasure to hang out with DJ Wordy in his Sanlitun studio as he collaborated with Soulspeak on the aptly named Wordy Soulspeak instrumental album. The release party is this Friday, May 27 at Yugong Yishan – be there or be square. All I can say is that the beats are DOPE, and many of the tracks are getting lots of play on my iPod (check out this posting for shootouts for the album from Pete Rock, RZA, Kidd Koala and more). DJ Wordy and Soulspeak are really trying to step up the quality of hip hop production in China. This album is a great first step in the direction of trying to get together the best producers with the best MCs in the country. Hopefully there will be a remix of some sort with all the Beijing heads spitting rhymes over it. Right ...
