Networking

The Social Centres Network is a network of independent social centres and autonomous spaces aiming to link up to share experiences, resources, ideas and information.

SMS Alerts

You can receive occasional news about London spaces on your mobile phone by SMS. Sign up by texting ‘follow londonscn’ to 07624801423 then reply with a name as instructed. It’s a free service apart from the normal cost of sending the two messages required to sign up.

Mailing Lists

Public Lists

londonscn-events@lists.riseup.net
An open, public announcement list where groups post info about events taking place at London Social Centres. Although generally low traffic you could receive several posts each week and it is sometimes abused by people posting events and protests etc unrelated to autonomous spaces.

rampart@lists.riseup.net
Previously the rampART newsletter, this mailing list has now morphed into a once a week round up of news and events relating to other autonomous spaces as well as occasional info about upcoming protests.

Internal Lists

londonscn-discuss@lists.riseup.net
Invite only discussion list for people actively involved in London Social Centres.

socialcentrenetwork@lists.riseup.net
This is the mailing list used as a communications tool between social centres throughout the UK. There is generally very little traffic then a flurry of posts all at once.

interspace coordination list
Original the April2008-coordination list set up on the run up to the decentralised days of action for squats and autonomous spaces, the list now provides a communications tool for autonomous spaces throughout Europe and beyond.

    Hey guys!
would it be possible to get us as contributors on this blog? then we could post up our own events, add our RSS and make sure the regular events are kept accurate. we already have a wordpress account… username ‘ratstarsquat’ email ‘careyeded@yahoo.com’

If you could let us know via a different email address – ratstarcentre@gmail.com – that would be great!

    You are invited to..

Feminist Soapbox: a weekend of feminist discussion and entertainment

The Edinburgh Anarcha-Feminist Kollektive and Lady Fest Edinburgh have teamed up to organise an action packed weekend of feminist workshops, discussion and entertainment!

The two day event will place in Edinburgh on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th of September 2010.

Workshops will run from 11am – 5pm on Saturday, and cover a wide range of topics and interests. There will also be an evening of entertainment on the Saturday night.

Sunday will be a more relaxed day, starting with brunch at 11am and focusing on making things and sharing skills throughout the day.

To see the workshop schedule & for more information go to:
    http://edinburghanarchafeminist.noflag.org.uk/page_id=177

The event will be FREE, kid friendly, and open to all*

If you would like us to organise crash space for you, are bringing a child, or have any special needs then please get in touch and let us know.

    To contact us email: info@ladyfestedinburgh.co.uk

    * Unfortunately our choice of venue has been severely restricted and as a result we can not guarantee that all workshop spaces will be accessible. If this is something that would prevent you from attending the event, then please get in touch and let us know, and we will do everything we can to find a creative solution.
