Mitsitam Café
Mitsitam, means, “let's eat” in the Native language of the Delaware and Piscataway peoples. Your group will enjoy indigenous cuisine of the Americas and explore the history of Native foods at this award-winning café. Each food station depicts the ways of life of a particular region in regards to ingredients, cooking techniques and flavors resulting in traditional as well as contemporary dishes. The Mitsitam Café features native foods found throughout 5 regions of the Western Hemisphere, including the Northern Woodlands, South America, Northwest Coast, Meso America, and the Great Plains.

Dining Dollars Food Vouchers
Available in denominations of $12, $15 or $20, Dining Dollars are good for face value and can be used towards the purchase of any food item and include a complimentary soft drink.
No change given. If value is exceeded, patron agrees to pay difference, including tax.

Kids Meal Vouchers (Bulk) $9 each
Discounted meal options are available for kids ages 12 and under.

Option 1:  One Hard or Soft Taco and 1 side item
Option 2:  Cheese Fry Bread and 1 side item

All options served with whole fruit, 20 oz. fountain beverage.

Adult Meal Vouchers (Bulk) $20 each
Choose from the following options:

Option 1:  Cedar Planked Salmon
Option 2:  Vegetarian Entreé
Option 3:  Maple Brined Turkey

All options served with choice of side item, 20 oz. fountain beverage.

For Dining Dollars, Kids Meal and Adult Meal Vouchers, the following restrictions apply:
Discount available for advanced sales only, not valid for same day purchases. Minimum order of 10, no complimentary vouchers issued. No reserved seating. Vouchers expire 9/30/17. 2017 vouchers can be exchanged for 2018 vouchers. To qualify for exchange, Smithsonian Group Sales & Reservations office must receive unused vouchers no later than 9/28/17.
