VU researchers receive close to $1million in ARC grants
Professor Gary Foley of VU’s Moondani Balluk Unit will lead a team of renowned Indigenous researchers in a $475,000 project to create an online archive of records about Aboriginal self-determination, the land rights’ movement and Aboriginal community survival programs.
A discovery grant worth $239,000 was awarded to a project that will provide ways to recover valuable products from current waste water. Professor Mikel Duke of VU’s Institute of Sustainability and Innovation is Chief Investigator of this project which will be conducted in partnership with Singapore’s Nanyang Technical University.
