Eighty-six year old David Banks has been found safe and well after going missing from his aged care facility.
Appeals were made to the public for help after he went missing from the Mountain View Aged Care facility in Narrabundah on the morning of Tuesday June 6.
Police were searching for the elderly man who suffers from dementia for more than six hours, finally locating him just before 6pm.
Authorities were very concerned for his welfare, but thanked the public for their assistance in locating the man.
