A man in his 20s was taken to The Canberra Hospital after a car and cyclist collided in Civic, causing traffic chaos on Tuesday evening.
ACT Ambulance were called to the scene on Cooyong and Akuna streets shortly after 5.30pm and were assessing a male cyclist in his 20s involved in the crash.
He was taken to Canberra Hospital with leg injuries and was in a stable condition.
Traffic was heavy in the area and compounded peak hour congestion on Cooyong and Mort Streets as well as London Circuit.
However, things got moving as crews cleared the area closer to 6.30pm.
