Hi Fallon. Welcome to the group. Sorry for the loss of your mother. Here at Legacy, you will receive support. Many members here have lost their mothers, me for one in 1999. The emotions you are going through are still new and you can take only one day at a time. Do what you can for each day and that's okay. Get the proper rest and diet. It seems like you love your Mother very much and how sweet that sounds. Keep in contact with the group as much as you can whenever you feel the need to talk or discuss your emotions. We are here. I had not been on the site for a while and hope to get back in motion. I had brain surgery in 2013 and believe me the timeframe it takes to retain some strength is slow. Take care and hope to hear back from you.

Fallon...I too am so sorry for the loss of your Mom.

Remember, with us here, you are not alone.

During my time of loss and feeling alone, I found and continue to find comfort in several promises of the loving God of the Scriptures:
1. He will not forget me. (Isaiah 49:15)
2. He promises to support me even when others leave me. (Psalm 27:10)
3. He will really help me.(Isaiah 41:10)

Though He is a Spirit invisible to our eyes, He is a real person named Jehovah who can see and hear us. And He wants and welcomes us to talk to him in prayer, just we talked and long to talk to our dear loved one. So I did, and still do!

I tell Him everything I would tell my loved one on the phone...and some! Afterward, I feel so much better!

So talk to Jehovah in prayer day and/or night. Draw close to Him, and He will comfort and help you too!

Why? Because Jehovah loves you too, even when you feel as if you are all alone. We are reminded at Psalms 23 that when we turn to Him we will lack nothing we need - finding comfort in our deepest, darkest hours of distress!

Fallon,I'm so sorry to hear of your loss of your mom.Sorry also for you having to join our group here.We all are suffering from different losses but our grief bonds us together.Being able to share with others is a relief here and without judgment. It's a relief for me because with family, they don't know what to say and I think sibling grief is not noticed as much.I am here for the loss of my only sibling/brother in a drowning. It's been 3 yrs now and I can't admit to myself what I think happened, there are no answers.((hugs to you))elyse

I lost my Mother one month ago. Her life was hard and far to short. I miss her terribly and often get this urge to call her..shortly after realizing I can't and will never again hear her voice. Numb, sad and alone....i know she's with me in her own way xoxox
