6/16/2017 Jalen Ramsey, Jax, CB
Ramsey underwent surgery to repair a core muscle injury, the team announced on Friday. The Jaguars did not disclose how long Ramsey would be sidelined, however a typical recovery from this type of surgery is approximately six weeks. That timetable would put the 22-year-old Ramsey back for the first week of training camp.

Analysis: Ramsey, who was the fifth overall pick of the 2016 draft, collected 65 tackles, two interceptions and one forced fumble while starting every game during his rookie season.
6/16/2017 Terron Armstead, NO, T
Armstead needs surgery to repair a torn labrum in his shoulder and his rehabilitation is expected to take four to six months, said a person familiar with the situation. The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity on Friday because there has been no announcement about the specific nature of Armstead's injury.

Analysis: The 6-foot-5, 304 pound Armstead is in the first year of a five-year, $65 million extension that he signed before the 2016 season. He has been a starter since late in his rookie season in 2013. Leg injuries have hampered him for parts of the past two seasons.
6/16/2017 Michael Floyd, Min, WR
Floyd may have violated the terms of his house arrest by drinking. Floyd is scheduled for a show-cause hearing in Scottsdale (Ariz.) City Court on June 26, according to ESPN.

Analysis: TMZ reported Friday that Floyd recently tested positive for alcohol at least three times and skipped another test altogether while under house arrest after he was found guilty of extreme DUI in February.

Analysis: The injury isn't known quite yet and his status is uncertain.
6/16/2017 Star Lotulelei, Car, DT
Lotulelei is recovering from offseason surgery to clean up his shoulder. Lotulelei's surgery had not been previously reported, but he is expected to be ready for the start of training camp next month, according to the Charlotte Observer.

Analysis: The 27-year-old Lotulelei was on the sideline as the Panthers' three-day minicamp wrapped up Thursday. The team's 2013 first-round pick participated in position drills this week while being held out of scrimmage situations. The 6-foot-2, 315-pound Lotulelei is set to earn $6.76 million in the final year of his rookie deal after the Panthers exercised his fifth-year option. He made 26 tackles and a career-high four sacks in 16 starts last season.

After an initial five-week recovery period, Unger is ready to take the next step in his return from foot surgery this spring. Unger, who had a procedure to repair a space in the Lisfranc area of his foot, said Wednesday the next phase of his rehab will be a walking boot.

Analysis: After that is a return to the practice field sometime in August, and if all goes well, he will take his usual spot in the starting lineup for the season opener against the Minnesota Vikings on Sept. 11.

Garrett has a sprained left foot, but is expected to be ready for training camp next month. The No. 1 overall pick in this year's NFL draft injured his foot late in practice Wednesday. The Browns waited until Garrett received a second opinion before providing an update Saturday.

Analysis: The team said Dr. Robert Anderson, a foot and ankle specialist with OrthoCarolina, agreed with a diagnosis by team physician Dr. James Voos of University Hospitals that Garrett has a lateral foot sprain. He was spotted in a walking boot on Friday at Cleveland Hopkins Airport.

Hall said Wednesday he agreed to a pay cut in the hopes of remaining on the roster after missing most of last season with a torn ACL in his right knee. Hall, who has been in Washington since 2008, was set to count more than $5 million against the salary cap.

Analysis: The 33-year-old converted from cornerback to safety midway through the 2015 season and is still recovering from surgery last fall. Achilles tendon, toe and knee injuries have limited Hall to 17 games the past three seasons. Coach Jay Gruden called Hall a mainstay who "keeps the boat from sinking from time to time."

Browns rookie quarterback DeShone Kizer has signed his four-year contract. The deal is projected to be worth nearly $5 million and include a $1.7 million signing bonus.

Analysis: The second-round draft pick from Notre Dame has shown progress during the team's mandatory minicamp and Kizer took snaps on Tuesday with Cleveland's starting offense. Kizer is battling veterans Cody Kessler and Brock Osweiler for the starting job. Kizer has been pleased with his development so far, but reiterated Wednesday that he has a lot to learn.

Albert arrived at the Jaguars' team facility on Monday, one day before the start of mandatory minicamp. Albert skipped the Jaguars' voluntary workouts reportedly because he was in search of a new contract. The 32-year-old, however, told coach Doug Marrone last week that he would attend the minicamp.

Analysis: Albert was acquired from the Dolphins in March in exchange for a 2018 seventh-round pick. The 6-foot-5, 315-pound Albert has two seasons remaining on the five-year, $47 million contract he signed with the Dolphins in 2014. Albert is due a base salary of $8.875 million in 2017 and $9.575 million in 2018, though neither is guaranteed. A two-time Pro Bowl selection, Albert started all 12 games he played last season and 35 games during his three years in Miami.

The Ravens and Maclin agreed on a two-year contract Monday.

Analysis: Maclin was recently released by the Chiefs. Maclin caught just 44 passes for 536 yards and two touchdowns in 2016 in a down season. He twice has compiled 80 or more catches and 1,000 or more yards in the same season. Maclin caught 85 passes for a career-high 1,318 receiving yards and matched his personal best of 10 touchdowns in 2014 in his final season with the Eagles.
6/9/2017 Spencer Paysinger, NYJ, LB
The Jets signed Paysinger on Friday.

Analysis: Paysinger spent the last two seasons in Miami, where he had 83 tackles in 29 games, including three starts. The 28-year-old linebacker was signed by the Giants in 2011 as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Oregon. Paysinger has 227 career tackles, including 70 on special teams, in 91 games over six seasons.

Decker is expected to be sidelined four to six months after undergoing surgery earlier this week on his shoulder. He suffered a torn labrum last week during organized team activities.

Analysis: Decker was selected by the Lions with the No. 16 overall pick in the 2016 draft out of Ohio State. He started all 16 games and played every snap during his rookie season and was accountable for 4 1/2 of the team's 37 sacks allowed.
6/8/2017 Walt Powell, Buf, WR
Powell has been suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season without pay after violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

Analysis: Powell caught 14 passes for 142 yards last season.
6/8/2017 DeMarco Murray, Ten, RB
Murray is sporting a cast on his right hand, but coach Mike Mularkey didn't appear to be too concerned on Thursday. "DeMarco had a little hand procedure. He should be ready to go," Mularkey said of the 29-year-old Murray, who has been dealing with a nagging injury to his ring finger for nine months. "He wants to work next week, I'll see. But he should be out of the cast Monday. If not he'll be ready for camp, obviously."

Analysis: Murray recorded 293 carries for an AFC-best 1,287 yards and nine touchdowns last season.

Watkins has been easing his way back to health after undergoing surgery on his left foot in January. Bills coach Sean McDermott announced that Watkins would work in a limited capacity Thursday after returning to individual drills two days ago during organized team activities.

Analysis: Watkins has been dealing with the injury bug over the last two seasons, forcing him to miss 11 games in that span. Watkins had surgery to repair a stress fracture that limited him to playing just eight games last season. He finished with 28 receptions for 430 yards and two scores in 2016. Watkins caught 65 passes for 982 yards and six touchdowns as a rookie. He set career highs of 1,047 yards and nine touchdowns in his second season when he had 60 receptions in 13 games.
6/8/2017 Julian Edelman, NE, WR
The New England Patriots and Edelman reached agreement on a two-year contract extension, multiple media outlets reported Thursday. Financial terms of the extension, which runs through the 2019 season, were not immediately available.

Analysis: Edelman has been Tom Brady's most frequent target over the last four years, reeling in 356 receptions for 3,826 yards and 20 touchdowns in that span. The 31-year-old recorded team highs in catches (98) and receiving yards (1,106) last season, although he managed only three touchdowns.

The Ravens released Pitta with an injury waiver after he suffered another major hip injury at organized team activities practice last week.

Analysis: Pitta dislocated his hip on Friday for the third time in five years and the latest could be a career-ending injury, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. Pitta will need surgery to repair the hip. The 31-year-old Pitta, who came back last season to lead the team with 86 receptions, was injured without being hit, according to the Ravens.
6/6/2017 Desmond Trufant, Atl, CB
Trufant, who went down late last season with a pectoral injury and missed the Falcons' run to the Super Bowl, returned to OTAs on Tuesday.

Analysis: He suffered the injury in Week 9 and was holding out hope he could return. Trufant was a Pro Bowl selection in 2015 and developed into Atlanta's top defensive player. He signed a six-year, $68.75 million contract extension this offseason.
6/6/2017 Mike Williams, LAC, WR
Williams will miss the rest of the Chargers' offseason program due to a mild herniated disk in his lower back. The first-round pick will miss the team's mandatory minicamp next week and may not be ready for the start of training camp in late July.

Analysis: The Chargers are counting on Williams to be an immediate contributor. The No. 7 overall selection in this year's draft caught 98 passes for 1,361 yards and 11 touchdowns last season as a key member of Clemson's national championship club.
