Good morning. It came in a torrent last night in Melbourne's north-west. The rain fell hard and fast. Very hard. And very fast.
Water pooled in big puddles on the footpaths as people peered out of windows trying to work out what the incredibly loud drumming was. Stormwater drains struggled to cope with the downpour.
And by all accounts the ran was not isolated.
There's still a possibility of showers today, with the Bureau of Meteorology putting the chances you'll need your brolly at 50-50. Best to pack it.
It's not too cold though, and a top of 14 is forecast, with a low of 8. Wet and grey and miserable but relatively mild for a winter's day.
