Kuenssberg studied history at the University of Edinburgh, followed by a journalism course at Georgetown University in Washington D.C., where she worked on an NBC News political programme.

Jeremy Bernard Corbyn (/kɔːrbɪn/; born 26 May 1949) is a British politician who is the Leader of the Labour Party and Leader of the Opposition. He has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Islington North since 1983 and was elected Labour Leader in 2015. Ideologically, he identifies as a democratic socialist.
Born in Chippenham in Wiltshire, Corbyn attended Adams' Grammar School and later North London Polytechnic without attaining a degree. Before entering politics he worked as a representative for various trade unions. His political career began when he was elected to Haringey Council in 1974 and later was secretary of the Islington Constituency Labour Party (CLP). He continued in both roles until he entered the House of Commons as an MP.
Corbyn has received awards for his work as an international human rights campaigner. As an MP he is known for his activism and rebelliousness, frequently voting against the Labour whip when the party was in government under New Labour leaders Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. Corbyn advocates an anti-austerity platform of reversing austerity cuts to public sector and welfare funding made since 2010, proposing preventing tax evasion and avoidance by corporations and wealthy individuals, reducing corporate subsidies, and pursuing an invest-to-grow economic strategy as an alternative. He proposes renationalisation of public utilities and the railways, abolishing university tuition fees, and financing "People's Quantitative Easing" to fund infrastructure and renewable energy projects. A longstanding anti-war and anti-nuclear activist, Corbyn supports a foreign policy of military non-interventionism and a unilateral policy of nuclear disarmament. Corbyn is a member of the Socialist Campaign Group, the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Amnesty International and the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament (CND). He was the national chair of the Stop the War Coalition from June 2011 until September 2015.

The fee is set by the British Government, agreed by Parliament, and used to fund the BBC's extensive radio, TV, and online services covering the nations and regions of the UK. From 1 April 2014, it also funds the BBC World Service, launched in 1932, which provides comprehensive TV, radio, and online services in Arabic, and Persian, and broadcasts in 28 languages.

Go to 2:43 for the rant. From the Independent: The BBC's Laura Kuenssberg and the Sun's Tom Newton Dunn are being praised for their work in the States. Earlier today a historic press conference featuring the British Prime Minister Theresa May and the President of the United States took place. In amongst the accredited American journalists putting their questions to the PM and POTUS were a few British reporters too. The BBC's Laura Kuenssberg and the Sun's Tom Newton Dunn to be specific. When the mic was eventually passed to them, they didn't hold back with their questioning. Laura asked where in the talks the pair of leaders didn't agree. And she also pressed the president on his controversial views that torture works and is a viable tool to use in the war on terror. Donald Trump...

Laura Kuenssberg is at it again! The BBC Trust ruled her report inaccurately represented Jeremy Corbyn on shoot-to-kill. "an answer Mr Corbyn had given to a question about 'shoot to kill' as though it were his answer to a question he had not in fact been asked". Yet on 26th April she repeats the lies!

Tony Blair was not "straight with the nation" about his decisions in the run up to the Iraq War, the chairman of the inquiry into the war has told the BBC. Speaking for the first time since publishing his report a year ago, Sir John Chilcot discussed why he thinks the former PM made those decisions. He said the evidence Mr Blair gave the inquiry was "emotionally truthful" but he relied on beliefs rather than facts. A spokesman for Mr Blair said "all these issues" had been dealt with. In a wide-ranging, exclusive interview with the BBC's political editor Laura Kuenssberg, Sir John also talked about Mr Blair's state of mind during the inquiry and his relationship with the then US President George W Bush in the build-up to the 2003 conflict. Laura Kuenssberg's interview with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn about whether he will guarantee that the UK will leave the EU. And she asked what he meant by saying there was a "a reckoning" to come for tax evaders and others who take advantage of the "rigged" system.

In July 2015, Laura Kuenssberg was appointed as the political editor of BBC News. Her Zionist overlords couldn't be more pleased with the job she's done. In the period she's been in charge the BBC couldn't have told more lies if they tried! It seems the only time Jeremy Corbyn makes the news is when the media tells lies about him. Then again, while I feel sorry for JC, I nevertheless feel from the outset he adopted the wrong approach. In August 2015 when he become Labour leader, I made the point of saying he should go on the offensive & direct his wrath at the media. This way, even if he failed in his quest to become Prime Minister, at least he would have alerted many more people to the outrageous media bias. Who knows, this approach may have even resulted in the one thing we so despera...

Are you an optimist or a pessimist? And why should it matter? After what for many of us has been an annus horribilis in 2016, pessimists seem to have all the best tunes. Terror attacks, horror headlines from Syria, a tide of hatred and resentment poisoning our politics: the world looks increasingly grim. But what about the actual facts? If you step back and examine the data, it’s clear that life is better today for the majority of people than at any previous time in history. And we’re not just talking about the developing world, where progress has been remarkable. Here in the West, most of us have never had it so good. Just look at the improvements in health and longevity, the breadth of entertainment available, and the opportunities to travel that we blithely take for granted. In this sp...

President Donald Trump Holds a Joint Press Conference with British Prime Minister Theresa May of the United Kingdom. President Donald Trump invites U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May to the White House where the two leaders will hold a joint press conference. Barely one week into his Presidency, Donald J. Trump Friday met with newly-installed British Prime Minister Theresa May at the White House. And while the topics of conversation and the prepared statements from the world leaders were serious in nature, POTUS had a few good jokes that filled the room with laughter. Each press pool managed a small handful of joint questions aimed at May and Trump, and one of the British reporters in the room began the round of presser questions with a tough one. Laura Kuenssberg of the BBC News called out...
