"The Brazilian" is an instrumental piece by the English band Genesis that concludes their 1986 album Invisible Touch. The song features experimental sounds and effects.
The band wrote two instrumental pieces for the album, the other being "Do The Neurotic". "Do The Neurotic" became the B Side to "Throwing It All Away" in the US and "In Too Deep" in the UK and was released on the Genesis Archive #2. It received a Grammy Award nomination in 1987 for Best Pop Instrumental Performance (Orchestra, Group or Soloist) and is also used on the Live at Wembley DVD for the menu music.
The tune was featured in the animated movie When the Wind Blows, which was scored by Roger Waters. It was also used in an episode of Magnum, P.I. called "Unfinished Business". The track was also used extensively by the BBC in their TV coverage of the 1987 World Athletics Championships.
Invisible Touch is the thirteenth studio album from the English rock band Genesis, released on 9 June 1986 on the Charisma/Virgin labels in the United Kingdom and Atlantic Records in the United States. After a break in group activity in 1984 for each member to continue with their solo projects, Invisible Touch was recorded following the commercial success of Phil Collins's third solo album, No Jacket Required, and its supporting tour which had increased his popularity as a solo artist. The album was written entirely through group improvisations; no material developed prior to recording was used. Electronic drums and synthesizers are used extensively.
Invisible Touch remains the best-selling studio release from Genesis, with over 6 million copies sold in the U.S. alone. It became the band's fourth consecutive album to top the UK charts and peaked at No. 3 in the U.S. It spawned five top five singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, "Invisible Touch", "Throwing It All Away", "Land of Confusion", "In Too Deep", and "Tonight, Tonight, Tonight", with "Invisible Touch" reaching the top spot, the only Genesis single to do so. The album received mixed reviews on its release and retrospectively; several reviews, both positive and negative, have observed its similarity to Collins's solo records and their commercial pop sound. Genesis toured Invisible Touch from 1986 to 1987, which ended with a record four sold out shows at Wembley Stadium. The album was reissued with a new stereo and 5.1 surround sound mix in 2007.
Wagner Borges Ribeiro de Souza (born September 15, 1977), better known by his stage name DJ Patife, is a prominent Brazilian drum and bass DJ.
He had contact with the drum and bass scene through friend DJ Marky while working in a record store. DJ Patife's first gig was at São Paulo's Arena Music Hall. In 1997, he travelled to Europe with Marky. There, he accompanied Roni Size in the delivery of the Mercury Prize. With crescent popularity, Patife released his first album in 2000, Sounds of Drum'n'bass. The album was praised by England magazines Muzik and Mixmag, resulting in an invitation to release the album in that country.
In 2000, Patife, Marky, and the Drumagick duo played for 5,000 people in São Paulo. Patife's remix for Max de Castro's "Pra Você Lembrar" was a hit in the Londoner dance tracks and was included in the main England dance magazines' playlists. Three of Patife's songs were included in the compilation Brazil EP, released in England by V Recordings. In 2000, he participated in Otto's double-CD Changez Tout - "Samba Pra Burro Dissecado" and in Fernanda Porto's album. Patife played in the 2001 version of the Rock in Rio festival. Also in 2001, he performed in the U.S., Scotland, London, and Amsterdam.

It's Samba time! Samba + Drum & Bass = Sambass. This mix features one hour of beautiful Brazilian-Portuguese vocals on top of Latin American flavoured DnB. With the exception of one remix from Makoto, every single producer featured in this mix is Brazilian. Now on Apple iTunes - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/the-brazilian-single/id1028034709 My version of the Genesis track "The Brazilian" from Invisible Touch. Recorded using Logic Pro X - this version is a modern interpretation of the original with a slightly more latin second half.
In this video, Jair Bolsonaro is being interviewed by several journalists when he was a candidate for being the president of the Human Rights Commission in Brazil. I translated the video because it is very easy to understand how the left is very well organized worldwide and is pushing the same evil agenda in Latin America, US and Europe. Bolsonaro is the best option to put an end to the left-wing by attacking the politically correct exactly the same way (if not better) as Donald Trump! Watch it, like the video and if possible like my page at facebook.com/brazilkorea Thank You!
https://www.rockislandauction.com/detail/70/3401 The Uru, named for a tropical bird, is a Brazilian 9mm submachine gun made from 1977 until 1985 and used by Brazilian military and police forces. What makes it interesting is the designer’s focus on simplicity - the gun has just 17 parts, and basically no screws or pins (except the bolt holding the pistol grip on). The trigger mechanism and drop safety are quite interesting to see! http://www.patreon.com/ForgottenWeapons Cool Forgotten Weapons merch! http://shop.bbtv.com/collections/forgotten-weapons If you enjoy Forgotten Weapons, check out its sister channel, InRangeTV! http://www.youtube.com/InRangeTVShow
