[SPANISH BELOW] First-time Juggers and bystanders usually experience the sport as something fast, chaotic and loud. It takes time to understand the motions and tactics well enough to actually see what's going on. A standard play only lasts around 10-20 seconds with 10 players fighting and running to capture the ball and score at the other end of the field. This speed and short timeframe made it ideal for a proper slowmotion video. The camera allowed only for 8-second-takes after which it had to buffer for over a minute. The awesome material Sebastian Bennecke (http://blog.ssb-photography.com/) collected under these circumstances made for over 4 hours of fun slowmotion to pick from. Jugger combines elements from sports like Fencing and various Martial Arts with teamsports like American Football and Rugby into a highly tactical, physically demanding and fast-paced sport. The main goal every round is for the runner of each team to get to the ball and place it on the other side of the field. The other 4 players in the team aim to defend their runner by clearing the way with their weapons. Even a light hit means you have to kneel and wait for a couple of seconds to get back in the game, increasing the tactical dynamic on the field even further. Lleva tiempo entender los movimientos y la táctica lo suficientemente bien como para ver lo que está ocurriendo. Un punto/ronda normal dura entorno a 10-20 segundos con 10 jugadores luchando y corriendo para conseguir la pelota y marcar en el extremo contrario del campo. Esta velocidad y corto lapso de tiempo lo hacen ideal para videos a cámara lenta. La cámara empleada solo permitía grabar tomas de 8 segundos tras las cuales debía cargar por un minuto. El Jugger combina elementos de deportes como la esgrima y diversas artes marciales con deportes de equipo tales como futbol americano y rugby, dando lugar a un deporte altamente táctico, físicamente exigente y de ritmo rápido. La meta principal de cada punto/ronda es que el corredor de cada equipo consiga la pelota y la coloque en el otro extremo del campo para marcar. Los otros 4 jugadores en el equipo buscan defender a sus corredores despejando el camino con sus armas. Cualquier leve golpe con ellas significa que debes arrodillarte y esperar por unos segundos antes de poder volver al juego, lo que incrementa el dinamismo de la táctica durante el juego aun más.
